Mars in Leo, Moon in Capricorn Compatibility

Status is the theme for this relationship. Both of these signs crave the trappings of success, but Mars in Leo’s flashy approach may feel too obvious for reserved Moon in Capricorn. However, if Capricorn can see beyond Leo’s playful glitz and recognize his powerful ambition, these two could make a formidable team.

Mars in Leo may seem to care only about the spotlight. But underneath his craving for attention is 24 carat ambition and pure dignity. Mars in Leo is hardwired for success, because he’ll never be content unless he’s number one. And at his core, he respects himself. Moon in Capricorn needs to have a serious goal. She feels secure when she has something to work towards, preferably involving a long climb to the top. Synastry chart – Past life connections?

I don’t even know that I believe in past lives, but I can say that, when I met this person, it really did feel like I knew him forever. We do not, and have not been, in a relationship, but we do have a child together (and after a rocky few months, get along extremely well and co-parent pretty smoothly).

For me so far, what’s stuck out most are our conjunct Plutos, and my South Node conjunct his Pluto (I’ve been told SN aspects indicate past life connections), and my Moon conjunct his Chiron.

I will say that I had a hard time buying him as a Cancer rising (I’d assumed Leo, like his Moon), but upon further reflection, it was because I saw straight through him from the start. The way others describe him at first meeting is a lot different than what I saw

Love Horoscope for the Week of February 29

It’s always refreshing for me when writing a Love Horoscope when Venus and Mars are the biggest players for the week. Sure, Jupiter and Saturn get plenty of attention when they’re on the move (and one ignores them at one’s peril), but please… Love is awesome, am I right? And this week there are plenty of opportunities to improve and upgrade your love life (or get one in the first place) thanks to some useful aspects to Venus during the week, and a Sign change for Mars on the weekend.

The early and middle parts of the week feature a couple of useful Venus aspects. Venus sextile Saturn (exact on Monday) is an excellent time to sweep all the messy, uncontrolled, and unsettled parts of your love life into one big pile and assemble them into something more functional. If you aren’t in a relationship, it’s a good time to make a game plan to get one.

Secondly, Venus sextile Uranus (exact on Wednesday) is a great opportunity to pump the gas on your romance. Have things gotten a little stale and predictable? Looking for a fling? Uranus is the planet of the wild and unpredictable, but it’s worst features are contained when a nice stable sextile is involved. Make a fantasy come true, get that makeover, or just do things differently with your love life and opportunities for success will present themselves.

Things get busy for Date Night on the weekend, with two planetary Sign changes. First off, Mercury enters Pisces early Saturday. Mercury — the planet of language and logic — isn’t always served well by the roiling emotional waters of Pisces: normally, Mercury likes things a little more orderly. However, Mercury in Pisces can be fantastic for heartfelt conversation and composing love letters and taking short trips with a loved one. Use your reasoning skills to calmly and logically figure out what your love life needs… then dream it into being.

Mars enters Sagittarius late Saturday. The planet most associated with the sex drive, combined with the Sign of the Adventurous Cowboy, could make for a wild ride. If what you want is a little more spice or variety or adventure, Mars in Sagittarius is just what you need. If you’d rather have things a little more sane and stable with your drive, well…. thanks to a retrograde in mid-April, you’ve got another month and a half of Cowboy Mars action, followed by a return visit to Scorpio. In fact, if you crave the common sense and stability of Mars in Capricorn, you’re going to have to wait until late September.

Other than that, the Moon is in Aquarius for Saturday and Sunday, so at least you’ll have a chance to get out and socialize and do a little mixing and mingling. Make the most of it!

How to Tell if a Mars in Capricorn Man or Woman Is Into You

Mars in Capricorn is all about focused ambition, and if he’s into you, you’ll be the focus of his ambitions. While there’s no doubt that this Mars sign knows what he wants, the challenge lies in convincing him to let down his guard.

Control is the mantra of this Saturn-ruled sign. Sensual passion lurks at the core of Mars in Capricorn, but you’ll have no clue about this, initially. All you’ll see is her work ethic. She’s the one most likely to stay at the office after everyone else has gone home. But she’s not doing this out of the goodness of her heart: Mars in Capricorn has a plan, and it involves her climb to the top. So if she actually takes time out of her work day to approach you with anything besides immediate necessities, pay attention. She will use work (or something else) as an excuse, but if she doesn’t have to talk to you, she may be into you. Her approach will be an odd mix of pretense mixed with underlying directness. There won’t be any flirting, and she will be a bit dry.

Mars in Capricorn is not going to make a fool of himself with someone who’s not interested. So he’s waiting for you to display some receptiveness. If you do, get ready for him to take things to Phase 2. Now he’ll try to impress you. This won’t be overt (he’s never flashy) but if he discusses his accomplishments, he’s trying to show you what he can bring to the table. If you indicate your interest in that, he’ll take things to Phase 3 — a date. The venue will probably be traditional: a nice meal or show. He’ll pay, and it will be expensive but tasteful. At this point you may wonder if he’s really that into you, because he’s not going to be demonstrative. There will probably be zero to minimal physical contact. Although he’s still evaluating you, rest assured if you’ve gotten this far he is hot for you. He’s just keeping his lust under wraps. Remember that control is a necessity, so he must be the boss at all times. If you make a move at this point, you may cross his formidable boundaries, and there will be no second date.

Sex will not be immediate, and the buildup make take a bit longer with this sign. Depending on how she’s dealt with her control issues, she may need a few drinks to loosen up. When you do become intimate, you’ll be surprised at her passion (that was just waiting for you to unlock it). Or, she may have all sorts of repressed desires that have become distorted. Mars in Capricorn’s greatest fear, and longing, is to lose control. This can create some interesting scenarios in the bedroom. Sex is her conduit for release, but again, she’ll have to be in charge. Occasionally, you may come across a Mars in Capricorn who is in disguise. On the outside, she’ll be proper and respectful. But inside, she’ll give free rein to her secret life. What she’s really into may shock you, especially since you thought you were getting involved with someone completely different.

Mars in Capricorn does not commit lightly. And make no mistake — he wants a commitment. If you’re at the point where you’re seeing each other regularly, things will proceed according to his carefully structured plan. For example, meet his friends, meet his family, move in together. Despite his formidable will and drive, he also wants to feel safe. And that means building a relationship with integrity. He’ll go to the ends of the earth to commit to you, but you must return the favor with honest, respectful commitment of your own. If you lie, cheat or disrespect him, you’ll be fired. He has zero tolerance for someone who abuses his trust, especially since it’s so difficult for him to trust in the first place. And while much depends on the rest of his chart, know that his actions mean absolutely everything. He may not tell you how he feels, but what he does is a direct line to his heart.

Here's My Chart. Any Career Suggestions?

Here’s my chart.

There’s a lot of focus on the 7th house. I tend to define myself through relationships. I love being in the company of others.

I’ve been working in the field of education for the past couple of years, but I am now in the process of changing careers. With Sagittarius on my MC and Neptune in the 10th, I have struggled with finding a rewarding career. While I enjoy teaching, it does not give me enough freedom, so I am now trying to pursue a career in law. Would this be a right path to follow?

Is there anything that catches your eye about my chart? Any insight is appreciated.

Love Horoscope for the Week of February 22

The week begins with a Full Moon in Virgo. Yes, as if your Monday wasn’t already complicated enough just by being Monday, add the ego-confusion associated with Pisces and that pinchy, too-critical quality Virgo often gets accused of having, and you’ve got a recipe for more than the usual amount of workplace strife. Lay low, try to look busy, and don’t take anything too personally until Tuesday.

The early and middle parts of the week provides ample opportunity to reap considerable rewards in your love life. First off: normally I wouldn’t even bother mentioning a minor aspect like the quintile, but this IS a “Romance Forecast,” so any aspect between Venus and Mars is noteworthy. The quintile represents “talent” or “an opportunity to put your skills to use.” So on Monday (when the aspect is exact), take advantage of the amplified emotions of that Full Moon with a love letter, a surprise dinner, or a naughty text message. Your efforts will have a much greater chance to be rewarded.

“Amplified emotions” is also an apt description for Jupiter opposite Chiron (exact on Tuesday), but in a less helpful way than this week’s Venus-Mars aspect. Be careful with your words when it comes to sensitive aspects, and try not to overreact to perceived slights.

All these emotions are fine and well, but let’s aim for practical results, shall we? Mercury sextile Saturn (exact on Friday) will provide the opportunity to make your fond wishes a little more solid, realistic, stable and permanent. Make those wishes wisely, then make the effort!

The weekend dating scene will provide ample opportunity to make things happen on the romance front. Sun conjunct Neptune might impair your judgement a little more than usual (designated driver alert!), but it also lends the proceedings a dreamy and unrealistic quality that (to be honest with you) is vital for romance, either new or improved. Fortunately the lack of realism is balanced out by a genuine chance to build real and solid romance, thanks to a Venus-Saturn sextile. And hey… Moon in Libra and Scorpio for your weekend dating is optimum for romance and partnership, or sex. Or heck, why not both?

Finally, it’s worth noting that this is a leap year, and thus next Monday is “Sadie Hawkins Day,” when (traditionally) the girls are allowed to ask the boys out on dates. Sure, things have changed… but why not keep the spirit of the occasion and make your own moves next week?

Mars in Leo, Moon in Aquarius Compatibility
