Yeah, I know, that’s an unusual thing to warn people about. The Sun has recently entered Scorpio, and (in theory) this means that everyone is looking for more depth and intensity. However, it seems that if you want to penetrate the deep mysteries of life, you’ll just have to bring your own digging tools this week. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a relatively restful and gentle week with which to get your life more together, good news: we have one of those in stock!
Even Tuesday’s Full Moon in Taurus is pretty mild, relative to the average Full Moon. Yes, you and those around you will be more prone to impulsiveness and agitation than usual because of the Full Moon, but since this Full Moon gets helpful aspects from Neptune, the blow will be softened. Come to think of it, the greatest risk from this Full Moon might be giving in to that urge to eat all the Halloween candy early. Taurus loves a good binge.
Throughout the week, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will all be in the middle degrees of Virgo — not quite exactly conjunct but close to it. For many, this will amplify romantic and/or sexual urges, and others will be seeking more peace, love and understanding from their lives and surroundings. This triple pile-up would lead to more impulsiveness if it were placed in most other Signs, but in Virgo it tends to have a certain cool and calm self-control. If what you need in your life is to rationally take charge of your heart (or perhaps to gently conquer the heart of another), this week will provide optimum conditions.
The weekend raises some interesting possibilities for romance. Not only is that Venus-Mars-Jupiter situation laying the groundwork for some serious romance, but Moon in Cancer for Saturday trines both the Sun and Neptune. That alone would do wonders for emotional receptiveness, but on top of that, Saturday is also Halloween. Based on my long-time experience as both an astrologer and a guy chasing after potential relationships, I can tell you this for certain: when Halloween falls on the weekend, that means lots of singles are out mixing and mingling wearing costumes and disguises. Singles wearing costumes and disguises are more likely than usual to get a little wild with things, or at least be a little more… shall we call it “romantically confident”? Fill a bar on Saturday night with the usual singles and you get the usual results. Fill that same bar with Supermen and Wonder Women and all of a sudden you’ve got action!
Finally, Sunday sees (in many places) the end of Daylight Savings Time. That’s probably a good thing, given how many of you will need the extra hour to rest up after last night’s romantic and/or sexual superheroics…
