Love Horoscope for the Week of March 30

Are you familiar with the classic Sesame Street children’s book, “The Monster at the End of This Book”? Well, brace yourselves kids: there’s a monster at the end of this forecast.

On Monday, Mercury enters Aries. Although that’s not necessarily an inherently bad place for it, Mercury tends to function better in a Sign that has a slower and more thoughtful approach then does the Sign of the Ram. Although the details will depend on your individual birth chart, there are two things we can probably count on in the next three weeks or so:

1. You or someone close to you will (literally or figuratively) need to be told to sit down, shut up, and listen.


2. You or someone close to you will be in no mood to do so… literally OR figuratively.

Complicating things (and contributing to the need for enforced silence) is Mars entering Taurus, which happens on Tuesday. The placid and usually content Bull is no place for the God of War to be hanging out. One thing this placement is good for though is amplifying sex drives. By all means, feel free to get your mojo working, and to find someone to help you with that.

Wednesday is April Fools’ Day. The Moon is trine Pluto that day, so there’s absolutely no way anyone’s moods could get out of hand. Ha! April fools! Duck and cover!

On Thursday, the Moon is Void of Course all day in Virgo. You can expect to be more annoyed than usual by fiddly little details that are out of place, but don’t expect to get much done about it. Try to focus on Sun trine Jupiter today instead, and be happy with it.

Finally, Sunday is Easter for some and Passover for others. Either way, a little religion (or at least some prayer) may be called for. If you’ve been reading my work for a while now, you know I usually tell people to not panic when there is an Eclipse. That’s still true, but because Saturday’s total Lunar Eclipse at 14° Libra also involves the Sun conjunct Uranus and square Pluto, this one’s a doozy. If your emotional life needs some shaking up, this is a particularly powerful Full Moon. Be careful with your feelings and those of others this weekend. The “shaking up” could reach earthquake proportions, especially for those whose birth charts have a heavy emphasis on the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn).

So you see: just like that literary classic from Sesame Street… yes, there is a monster at the end of this forecast. And it’s you.
