Mars in Capricorn, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

These two are a natural fit. Mars in Capricorn’s focused actions will appeal to Moon in Virgo’s need for correctness. Each will instinctively recognize the other’s desire for a sure thing. Therefore, the resulting relationship is likely to be a sure thing.

For all his determination to succeed, Mars in Capricorn is extremely cautious. He will not pursue just anyone–he must be sure that the object of his affection is interested in him, and is capable of making a commitment. Once he’s satisfied that he has a shot with a reliable, prospective partner, Mars in Capricorn will work to prove himself, and work for the success of the relationship. A partner who understands that his responsibility outweighs his romantic gestures would be best.

Moon in Virgo needs to fix her relationship. Even if there are no major difficulties, she’s only satisfied if she’s improving something. Moon in Virgo’s focus on flaws can result in constant worrying and nitpicking, so the best partner for her would be someone who shares her desire for improvement. When she’s feeling secure, she can be a wonderfully supportive lover who tends to all her partner’s needs.

Mars in Capricorn will recognize a kindred spirit in Moon in Virgo. Two powerful work ethics will unite, with Capricorn taking charge and driving the relationship forward. This will suit Moon in Virgo just fine, as she’s more comfortable tending to the background details. She’ll support his efforts, and he’ll focus her energy when she gets worked up over various little things. And, this union will have a unexpected side. Neither sign is known for being intensely romantic. But they are Earth signs, so there is a natural sensuality that can be accessed when they are comfortable enough to let their guards down. This could be a surprisingly passionate relationship, although no one on the outside will see this.

Mars in Sagittarius, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Sagittarius’ adventurous spirit may be too much for Moon in Virgo. Virgo needs precision, and Sagittarius lives for the big possibilities. This connection may be more irritating than romantic, but it will create an interesting challenge.

Mars in Sagittarius is all about the leaps. The leap of faith, leaping into something new, leaping ahead — he combines optimism with a restless desire to keep moving. Mars in Sagittarius also likes big gestures, which can range from courting a prospective partner to sweeping her away on his next adventure, even when they’ve been together for years. He’s a fun, passionate lover who refuses to dwell on what might go wrong.

Moon in Virgo needs to control her relationship by improving it. While she may seem like she’s willing to “serve” her partner, in reality she’s establishing an intricate web of routines and upgrades that will target areas of weakness. Moon in Virgo feels secure when she can make things better, which involves looking after her lover while ensuring that he follows her instructions.

Mars in Sag may be intrigued by Virgo’s aura of purity and reserve. He’ll charge in and attempt to sweep her off her feet. Moon in Virgo will be charmed, at first. But she’ll panic when she realizes that he could care less about the little things that matter to her. It’s not that Sagittarius won’t care about her, but he won’t see the point in her fussing and fretting. If they begin a relationship, she’ll be in a continual state of anxiety as she attempts to keep him in line, while he’ll be supremely annoyed by her nagging. When he attempts to laugh things off, Moon in Virgo will feel hurt. If these two are going to make it work, Moon in Virgo will need to realize that Sagittarius will never conform to her standards. He’ll always be a work in progress (and this will will be appealing to her, on some level). Mars in Sag will have to respect his Virgo partner’s need for detail, even if it frustrates him. They will each provide the other with an ongoing challenge, and it must be said that these signs would get bored if things were easy.

Mars in Scorpio, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Scorpio’s powerful sex drive may seem too much for virtuous Moon in Virgo, but these two are actually very compatible. Scorpio’s efforts to go beneath the surface will feel natural to Virgo, because she’s in constant fix-it mode. And, she has a surprising streak of sensuality that Scorpio will unlock.

Mars in Scorpio only takes action when he means it. He’s not a casual guy — everything he does is meant to uncover the truth or push a limit. This makes Mars in Scorpio a demanding partner, but he is also intensely loyal and patient. When he has dedicated himself to a relationship, he pours his considerable will, sexual energy and determination into it.

Moon in Virgo needs an upgrade. Not because there’s anything wrong with her, but because she needs to feel like she’s being productive. This means her partner and relationship will be under constant scrutiny, because she only feels secure when she’s making little refinements. Moon in Virgo can be a ball of anxiousness, but she’s also endlessly devoted to the health and happiness of her lover.

Moon in Virgo will sense Scorpio’s deeply-rooted strength, as well as his drive to get to the bottom of everything. This will relax her (as much as she’s able to relax) because finally she’ll have met someone who cares as much as she does about understanding he hows and whys. But Mars in Scorpio will be much calmer about it, and he’ll patiently work through her knots of worry. Scorpio will be protective towards Moon in Virgo, while appreciating her need for analysis. He’ll also get satisfaction from opening her up in a way that no one ever has.

Mars in Libra, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

At first glance, flirtatious Mars in Libra and prim Moon in Virgo may not seem compatible. But these two share a quality that can lead to mutual understanding, while binding them together.

Mars in Libra is all about the courtship dance. Almost every action he takes is designed to seduce or appease the object of his affection. Even if he’s not conscious of this, Mars in Libra mirrors what his partner (or prospective partner) is doing, in order to demonstrate how perfect he is for her. Combined with his knack for romance, he’s got a lock on the refined qualities of life. He’s never pushy and is always light on his feet.

Moon in Virgo needs to have everything in its place. Her security is based on having control over her relationship and domestic routines. Her emotions move along carefully defined paths: cause and effect, problems and solutions. Moon in Virgo senses that there is a reason and consequence for everything. While this can make her a high-anxiety partner, it ensures that she never lets anything slide. She only feels feels satisfied if she’s refining something (her partner, the relationship, herself).

Moon in Virgo may be initially suspicious of Mars in Libra. She’ll may write him off as a player, but if he’s persistent, he could eventually win her over. His willingness to do what it takes to accommodate her inner worrier will help, but the real selling point will be his refined actions. In his own way, Libra can be as much of a perfectionist as Virgo. He applies this energy to relationships, and she applies it to daily issues, but high standards are high standards. He’ll be attracted to the purity he senses within her, and she’ll feel comfortable with his unfailing politeness. Her practicality will balance out his frivolity, while he’ll remind her that sometimes it’s ok to just have fun.

Mars in Virgo, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Virgo is Moon in Virgo’s perfect match. He’ll target and address her worries with precise actions, and she’ll support his efforts. While this may not sound like the hottest combo, their chemistry will be based on a mutual desire to improve themselves and their relationship.

Mars in Virgo wants to keep doing things better. If life were a game, he would be on a quest to level up indefinitely. For the partner who doesn’t understand this, Mars in Virgo will seem like a relentless perfectionist who has nothing better to do than look for problems that don’t exist. For the partner who resonates with him, he’ll be a fixer, healer and finely-tuned lover, all rolled into one.

Moon in Virgo needs improvement. This can translate into worrying and nagging that randomly shifts focus, convincing her lover that she actually prefers being unhappy. Moon in Virgo wants to be happy, but what satisfies her is a steady stream of little projects, and a sense that her relationship is busy. A placid partnership is a stagnant partnership for this Moon.

Mars in Virgo will be attracted to the purity that he senses within Moon in Virgo. Her sense of order and emotional discernment will trigger his desire to do things even better than usual (if that’s possible). He’ll pull out all the stops to help her, and she’ll reciprocate by letting him into her carefully curated life and building a neat little nest for him. Together, they can create a relationship that continually reaches new levels of effectiveness. The only catch is when one partner worries, the other may get stuck in a web of anxiety. This is where Mars in Virgo will need to assert himself by doing what he does best: taking action and solving the problem.

Mars in Leo, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Leo’s efforts to impress will seem flashy to Moon in Virgo. His boldness will clash with her need for refinement, and he may find her surge of disapproval discouraging enough that he looks elsewhere for an audience. But if these two can get past their initial discord, their common desire to have the best in life can draw them together.

Mars in Leo sees no reason to hold back when he’s interested in someone. He has accomplishments and talents, not to mention looks and charm. Downplaying his assets doesn’t make sense to this proud and passionate sign. Mars in Leo will be bold, dramatic and full-on romantic, but he’ll never sacrifice his dignity or high standards. While his blinding confidence may create the illusion that he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, his actions are focused on gaining appreciation from his partner.

Moon in Virgo needs to create the best relationship. This makes her a domestic control freak, intent on having things just so with her routines and improvement projects. One of those projects will be her partner, who is (as far as she’s concerned) a work in progress… just like her. Moon in Virgo’s fussing and worrying is actually a form of stress release; she feels secure when she can make things better.

Mars in Leo will expect applause from Moon in Virgo, but he’ll get thin-lipped silence mixed with disapproval. He’ll think he’s wowing her, but all she’ll see is a child demanding attention. Hurt and offended, he’ll wonder why she can’t appreciate what he’s trying to do for her, and he’ll withdraw. That may be as far as their interaction goes. But if other contacts between their charts indicate more compatibility, these two may be able to bond based on Virgo’s appreciation of Leo’s dignity, and Leo’s recognition that she really does need perfection. He’ll do his best to provide that with courtly actions and exquisite gifts. Virgo may chide him for spending too much, but she’ll also tend to his every desire. This focused attention will soothe Leo’s pride, as long as Virgo curbs her criticisms.

Mars in Cancer, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Both of these signs love to help their partners, and their different approaches complement each other. Mars in Cancer’s passionately nurturing actions will harmonize with Moon in Virgo’s need for domestic order and perfection. Mars will supply the raw materials, and Virgo will refine what he gives her.

Mars in Cancer expresses his desire for his lover by providing comfort. Whatever he can do to help his partner feel secure and loved is fair game. Mars in Cancer’s assistance is wrapped in a warm, cozy aura of emotional nurturing, which means his reactions (positive and negative) are also saturated in emotion. He’s protective and moody, and it doesn’t take much trigger an outburst of temper, especially if he feels threatened.

Moon in Virgo needs to continually improve her relationship. Even if her partner thinks everything is fine, she’ll find a way to better it. While this can spiral into obsessive nagging and worrying, contented Moon in Virgo will nurture her lover in her own practical way (this meets her need to serve). By ensuring that everything is running efficiently in her relationship, she’ll feel safe in the atmosphere of order she’s created.

Mars in Cancer’s protective efforts will support and soothe Moon in Virgo. When she gets wound up about something, he’ll take care of it, while wrapping her in his reassuring embrace. Moon in Virgo will feel satisfied with Cancer’s efforts to make her feel safe, and she’ll conscientiously express her appreciation by doing even more to help him. He’ll handle the touchy-feely stuff, and she’ll take care of the necessities. Together, they’ll create a relationship that covers all the bases.

Mars in Gemini, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Both of these Mercury-ruled signs love chatter, but Mars in Gemini’s approach may be too careless and raunchy for Moon in Virgo. Gemini wants to skim the surface with his bratty sense of humour, while Virgo needs to focus on what’s correct.

Mars in Gemini can be a bad boy, with the emphasis on “boy.” His whimsical/naughty approach to flirting blends wit and innuendo, and if he manages to shock the object of his affection, all the better. Mars in Gemini wants to keep things interesting, and this involves new and controversial topics of discussion. But as much as he loves to discuss, he’s not interested in focusing on anything for too long.

Moon in Virgo needs to think about it. “It” can be anything from her relationship, to her lover’s health, to something in the news. But she must analyze. Moon in Virgo’s constant analysis can grind her partner down, especially if she focuses on negative issues (which she has a tendency to do when she’s trying to make improvements). She feels most secure when she’s being useful, which translates to fixing something, in Virgo-speak. Her perfectionist streak ensures that she also focuses on the correct way to approach anything. If it feels rushed, or rude, or unclean, she feels anxious.

Mars in Gemini may offend Virgo with his remarks. She’ll view him as silly and annoying, and if he persists, she won’t hesitate to tell him the truth, as she feels it. But rather than discouraging Gemini, Moon in Virgo’s sharp responses may keep him coming back for more. He’ll see her as a worthy opponent, and their verbal jousting will be foreplay (to him). Whether or not things go any further depends on other connections between their charts. If they do form a relationship, the constant tension will keep Gemini intrigued and Virgo busy (as she attempts to correct him).

Mars in Taurus, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Relationships don’t get more effective than this one. Mars in Taurus’ definitive actions will meet Moon in Virgo’s need for practical achievement. He’ll take one step, she’ll analyze it and deem it acceptable, and then he’ll take another step. They’ll perform a dance that mixes his cautious determination with her methodical drive for improvement.

Mars in Taurus is a pro at manifesting. This isn’t due to any mystical powers. Rather, his ability to decide on a course of realistic action, and then follow through to the end, is the key to his success. His partner will appreciate his ability to just do it, even if it does take him some time to start moving. Mars in Taurus is not all work and no play, though; life’s basic pleasures (good food and good sex) are his must-have rewards.

Moon in Virgo needs to see solid evidence of progress. She is always in fix-it mode, which is why no relationship that she is part of will ever stagnate. While Moon in Virgo’s drive for perfection is admirable, her partner may find her difficult to handle when she tips over into obsessive worrying and pessimism. For this reason, a lover who is more relaxed (but not careless) would be best to keep her balanced.

Moon in Virgo will feel safe and secure with Taurus’ work ethic; when he says he’s going to do something, he’ll do it. Mars in Taurus will appreciate Virgo’s realistic approach to everything. When she gets wrapped up in a project (or starts to nag him about something) he’ll patiently coax her out of her worry zone with a soothing back massage or home-cooked meal. Despite his ability to create results, Taurus can become stuck in a complacency rut. Moon in Virgo will be just who he needs to get him back on track. He’ll supply the raw materials, and she’ll refine their relationship from the inside.

Mars in Aries, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

This is a difficult mix that pits Mars in Aries’ disregard for details against Moon in Virgo’s need for precision. Virgo will feel that Aries is rude, and Aries will be impatient with Virgo’s fussiness. However, if other connections between their charts draw them together, these two can find common ground in their focus on change.

Mars in Aries jumps at whatever catches his attention. His actions are fueled by the raw instinct to express his will, and caution is last on his list. He’s the man you want if you’re looking for a decisive fast-mover. But Mars in Aries needs some grounding influences in his relationship, or else he can storm in and depart when things are half-finished. He needs a compelling reason (usually in the form of a spicy challenge that keeps him interested) to stick around.

Moon in Virgo needs to improve whatever catches her attention. She feels safe when she’s being “useful” in her relationship, which can translate to worrying or fault-finding. Her domestic routines will be carefully organized in detailed patterns that only she understands. Moon in Virgo’s partner should recognize that a certain amount of fussing means she cares. Her Shadow side can emerge when she gets stuck in a loop of picking at something that’s not broken, or creating mini crises to keep herself occupied.

Moon in Virgo will be horrified as Aries tramples carelessly over her house rules, and Mars in Aries will be irritated by her worries. She’ll probably be too upset by his impulsiveness to feel flattered by his advances, and he’ll quickly decide that she’s too uptight to waste his energy on. However, if other aspects between them create chemistry, they can have a forward-moving, dynamic relationship. Virgo’s need for constant improvement will be fueled by Aries’ drive. He’ll push her out of her perfection paralysis, and she’ll take care of the details he overlooks in his rush to get things started.
