Nessus, Deianira, And Other “Intense” Aspects In Synastry Chart = Run For The Hills?

I recently starting dating a man whose personality is very “Alpha,” to which, I like/the kind of personality I’m attracted to.
(Despite my sun sign, I am pretty laid-back and don’t mind the man “wearing the pants” in the relationship. I attribute that to my Moon in Libra. However, if I feel as if I’m being mistreated and/or taken advantage of, I have no problem standing up for myself and exerting my “Scorpion sting”).

Anyway, upon looking at our synastry, it’s hard to ignore some of the “intense” aspects. Aspects I’ve don’t have much experience with.
In my personal opinion, there’s a difference between “Alpha” and “Total Dominance/Suppression, Mistreatment.“

Upon meeting there was an instant attraction, definitely a “love at first sight” kind of feeling, quickly followed by a “familiar”/"Do I know you from somewhere?” type of feeling (we hadn’t met before, in this life at least). And of course, our synastry aspects (noted below) confirmed these feelings.

We’ve only known each other a short time, so I guess I’m just curious if these seemingly negative “intense” aspects are strong/heavy enough (synastry aspect speaking) to effect “us” as a couple – if this is a “keep one eye open”/ red flag-type of a thing, especially with Nessus and Deianira interactions.

(Birth information – including time – is accurate and I tried to keep orbs a tight – within 3°, most being between 1°- 2°)

The “If-y” / “Intense” Aspects That Have Me A Little Wary:

My IC conjunct his Nessus (2°) : “Abuse” within the “Home” (?)
From the information I’ve found, this could indicate:

Quote:

“If a man brings an abusive or abrasive planet or asteroid here, it would hurt. It would not show in public, but in private. If a man’s Nessus hit you here, he may abuse you behind closed doors”.
Source: http://ift.tt/1TStvzn

-My Deianira conjunct His Mars (2°) : My “Victim” asteroid sitting next to a personal planet of his – masculine, planet of action/energy (?)
Again, the only information I’ve found, this could indicate:

Quote:

"If your Dejanira conjuncts his ASC, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus or NN, you will be his victim”.
Source: http://ift.tt/1TStrja

Are the Nessus/Deianira aspects open for interpretation/differing opinions on how these are “played out,” Or are these (meanings) pretty concrete?

- My North Node Conjunct His BML (3°) : Don’t know if this aspect is important/"strong” enough to consider in synastry, as I could not find any clear interpretations. Anyone have any insight?

The Good “Intense” Aspects That (I Think) Very Accurately Describe How We Came Together:

My ASC conjunct his South Node: Familiarity, Instant Attraction.
My Moon Conjunct his North Node: Emotional Bond/Connection, Feeling “Meant To Be.”
My Moon Conjunct His Pluto: Intense Attraction/Emotions (Can Be Positive And/Or Negative – I haven’t experienced the “negative” as of yet).
My Vertex Conjunct His Venus: Fated Feeling, Strong “Love” Connection, Relationship Has Potential To Be “Life Changing” (?)
My Sun/Moon Midpoint (27°12’ Libra) Conjunct His Sun (27°11’40” Libra) : Feeling Comfortable, Complete.

And input and/or opinions about the “if-y” aspects would be greatly appreciated. Or any insight about the chart/it’s aspects overall would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! :)

Love Horoscope for the Week of May 30

weeklyloveNormally this weekly forecast would begin with a warning not to expect to get much done at work, since the Moon is Void of Course most of the day. However since this Monday is Memorial Day for most readers of this blog, this forecast begins with a warning not to play with fireworks. Seriously, people. You may need those fingers for something else later.

You may have noticed the recent lack of traction in your life when it comes to getting real change going. In part that may be because Mars, Saturn, and Pluto are all still retrograde. That can be frustrating, but ultimately it can be for the best. Mars, Saturn, and Pluto can make for dramatically painful and sudden changes if not handled properly, and retrogrades give us the opportunity to think a little before we push the button on our big plans. Keep this in mind later on in the week when your love life and finances become frustrated due to some unfortunate aspect to Venus.

Venus is in Gemini, which is a bright and lively placement, normally well-suited to getting out on the weekend and having fun and socializing and perhaps finding some new love. However, Venus doesn’t put up with blockages and frustrations very well (especially when in Gemini), and she’ll be getting a lot of those at the end of this week. Over the course of the weekend, Venus makes an opposition to Saturn and a square to Jupiter, with the exact aspects happening on Friday and Saturday evenings respectively (both in effect throughout the latter half of the week). Since we are currently in the midst of Jupiter square Saturn, long-term plans may already have had a hard time lasting in the first place… but with Venus added into the mix, this can add an unhealthy veneer of powerful but impractical emotional demands, and a sense that someone (or life itself) is simply shutting you down or shutting you out. Just remember that these are temporary conditions, and you’re still perfectly adorable.

The best news of the week is that all difficult transits come to an end eventually and that life and the Zodiac both give us regular chances to reboot things. If you don’t like how your love life has turned out this weekend (or anything else for that matter), it’s time to set your intentions for the following month with the assistance of Saturday’s New Moon in Gemini. All that shoving around Venus has gotten is compensated for by being conjunct the New Moon, and this weekend’s letdowns can be leveraged into a month of real progress, provided you’re willing to sit down, examine your life, and take the correct actions.

Mars in Libra, Moon in Aries Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Libra will dance with Moon in Aries, and his flirtatious actions will trigger her assertiveness. These signs are opposites, but Aries is ruled by Mars. This will crank the chemistry up another couple of notches.

Mars in Libra is a pro at courtship. He’s never pushy, always appropriate and very charming. A tasteful romantic, he wines and dines the object of his affection with stylish moves. Despite his polite approach, Mars in Libra likes a bit of conflict. Emphasis on the word “bit.” He abhors rudeness or aggression, and will avoid confrontation at all costs. But his secret is that a smattering of friction with his partner keeps his interest, and keeps his potentially wandering eyes focused on his primary relationship.

Moon in Aries needs excitement in her relationship. This consists of conflict or assertive action. When things become cozy and predictable, Moon in Aries gets bored and dissatisfied. Her ideal partner will recognize that she feels safe when something challenges her or stirs up her emotions. The trick is to manage her vital energy in a healthy way, so it doesn’t become distorted into pointless arguments. When she’s at her best, she’s a passionate partner who’s totally committed to the moment.

Mars in Libra will throw a flirtatious hook at Moon in Aries, and she’ll react with a powerful tug. The polarity between these signs creates instant chemistry, and Aries’ reactions will be amplified by the fact that Mars is her ruler. She may respond more strongly than he anticipated, and there will be a constant tug of war between them. Mars in Libra will back off, Moon in Aries will push forward, and vice versa. The seesaw will keep them both energized, and this relationship will never get boring.

We feel attracted by each other, but she's lesbian! Are there any chances?

She’s lesbian, but we feel an unreasonable atraction by each other. She is frightened because she has never felt it before in her whole life, and keep telling me that I’m totally different from everything she has ever seen. We usually talk for hours, about deep issues, philosophy issues and love issues. We have this sort of peculiarity of talking about everything deeply. She generally says that we’re like only one person, only one heart. I couldn’t agree more.
We’ve never seen each other yet. I’m going to meet her in a couple of days. I really want to know If we match! Please, help me!
I’ve heard that our attraction is because my sun and mercury are in her first house, and her venus/mercury and sun are in my first house either.
I really want to know If she will feel attracted by me physically and whether it’s going to work or not. I also want to know the weaknesses of our synastry! Please, could someone help me? I’m freaking out! I’m in love with her and I really couldn’t stand If, for instance, I kissed her and all her feelings go away because It wasn’t what she expected. I’m so scared.

In the birth chart, I’m the blue one (saggitarian), and she’s the red one (libran):

The Five Signs Most Likely to Zombie You

Credit: fizkes via iStockphoto

Credit: fizkes via iStockphoto

We’ve talked about ghosting (a romantic interest vanishes instead of communicating their desire to end things). Continuing the horror-themed dating experiences, there is another trend known as “zombieing.” An ex that you broke up with, or who ghosted you, comes back from the dead via random texts or interactions on social media. He or she creeps back with no apologies or acknowledgement that anything like a breakup went down between you. The reanimated quality of the connection is what you’d expect from a zombie: a cold, unpleasant echo of what was. There’s no real heat or meaning — just a random firing of reflexes. Read on to see which signs are more likely to reach out after your connection with them has died.

Gemini

The 3:00 am text that’s intriguing enough to make you wonder if Gemini is still interested. The picture he emails with the accompanying message “saw this and thought of you.” This happens three months after he ghosted you. What’s he playing at? The truth is, probably nothing. He’s either bored or doesn’t realize what he’s doing is annoying or hurtful. There’s nothing more going on here than a random urge to reach out and communicate. If you reply, you’ll get no response, but he might contact you again in another three months. He could keep this up forever.

Libra

Reasons why Libra would zombie you? She’s single, or feeling unloved by her current partner. Her drive to be loved and in a relationship means that if she’s not getting that attention in her life, she may reach out to someone she thinks still has feelings for her. Reassurance that she’s still attractive, or her need for any one-on-one connection, could briefly trump her distaste of unpleasant scenarios. Hence the mildly flirtatious comment on your Instagram photo. But she has no intention of taking this any further, or having a potentially messy discussion.

Scorpio

Zombieing by a Scorp will only happen if you break up with her before she’s ready to let go. Even then, crossing the line between zombieing and full-on stalking will depend on her chart. Let’s say you when you initially end things you have to make yourself very clear that the relationship is over, because she’s having trouble taking no for an answer. A couple of months pass with no contact. But then, she retweets your tweet, or starts liking your Facebook posts. There’s no request to reconnect, but she’s hoping enough time has gone by that you’ve changed your mind. She’s reminding you that she’s still there, because she never stopped wanting to get back together. Don’t feed the zombie by responding; your best bet is to block.

Pisces

The Pisces zombie can crawl back into your life if he’s ghosted you, or if you’ve dumped him. There may be intent behind the zombieing: he experiences a brief surge of rose-colored nostalgia. There may be absolutely zero intent: he got drunk, texted you, then promptly forget. The past, present and future can blend together for this sign, so reaching out after six months of zero contact can feel perfectly natural to him. Also, Pisces doesn’t hold grudges and can have difficulty understanding how hurtful his ghosting was. He can be empathetic, but out of touch with reality; texting you a random song lyric seems like a normal thing to do. If you respond, there may be a brief exchange, but after that, probably nothing.

Cancer

This sign was not included in the ghosting article, and Cancer is a Cardinal sign (always moving forward). But at the same time, the past is never truly dead for her, because of her strong emotional connection to what was. So on occasion, you may be touched by your undead Cancer ex. Maybe her nostalgia was triggered by a song that reminded her of you. It may be your birthday, her birthday, or the anniversary of when you first met. Depending on the nature of the breakup, the contact could be a Facebook like; a “just heard our song on the radio” text; or a text that’s a little more snarky (if you really hurt her, she’ll hang onto that pain). She gets caught up in the moment, but then instantly regrets it. So if you respond, you’ll probably get nothing in return, because she’s reactivated her shell.

The Part of False Love aka Part of Corruptness… Is It… Or Is It Something Else?

Greetings.
Recently, to the list of all Astrological Parts that is a “Sticky” in this forum, I added another, alternative, name for the formula Asc. + Neptune – Venus. (currently known only as the Part of False Love)
I’ve proposed calling it the Part of Ideal Love or Idealized Love.

Venus, the Planet of Beauty and Appreciation/Love as the “Trigger” influencing its higher octave Neptune, which is the Planet that governs the imaginative faculties… makes perfect sense to me… that what occurs is ones sense of Beauty and Love is imagining the ideal culmination of those very things… and that can be in the form of another person, an artistic creation, poetry or a musical composition.

Phoenix Venus and I have discussed this matter and at this time it does seem to be the correct interpretation. Her Part of Lovers and this newly renamed Part that is in my natal chart are in the same sign and degree. While we have never met in person and are some 3,000 miles apart, we have been in constant correspondence for over three years now.
She appeared in a lucid dream I had shortly after I answered a request for an opinion on musical talent she had initiated…or it may have been immediately before, the exact dates for each are long fone in a cloud of obscure memory. From that dream I was able to describe her, her surroundings, her current endeavors and a couple of intimate poseesions of hers…she in turn had a dream a number of years ago that is highly descriptive of me.
Despite the extreme difference in our ages… I am over thirty years older than her we have found a deep genuine affection and a profound respect for one another.
We plan on meeting finally sometime later this year.
I’ll keep you all informed of how that works out when it happens.

The opposite formula, i.e. Asc. + Venus – Neptune is known as the Part of Deceit and the Part of Vanity.

The Planet Neptune as the “Trigger"… the Planet that rules the imaginative process giving a vision that Venus then seizes upon…

What? That doesn’t sound bad, you say?

Well, that would depend on what stimulated or even auto suggested the imagery, now, wouldn’t it?

Sounds to me that it has much potentiality to be a source of deception.

The Part of Deceit for the Yeshu’a chart I have proposed to be authentic is at 13* Capricorn 04′ 21” by the posted chart… his Part of Destiny is 13* Capricorn 13′ 57" by the posted chart (here: http://ift.tt/1NNSoNo)

Could this be the answer as to why He is said to have called out from the cross, “Father, why has thou forsaken me?”

Anyone have any exerience with either of these Parts they would like to share it will be most welcome and duly appreciated.

Comments, observations, and opinions, as always, are just as welcome.

8th House Death

I was reading about the 8th house and how it can give insights on death. I have Aries in the 8th house and kind of disturbed to see my death is most likely violent, sudden, angry, in a fire, blood loss or car accident. I also have mars and the moon in the 8th. Wouldn’t mars just intensify the above scenarios?

I am a newbie so I am wondering others thoughts on this conclusion and anything else I should be taking into consideration?

Also, do you know people who have died and it lined up with their 8th house placement?

Love Horoscope for the Week of May 23

weeklyloveIf you want to make a relationship work, two of the most important things to have are attraction and mutual stability. This week’s astrological action features an aspect early in the week that will certainly make for plenty of attraction, but later in the week there is an aspect coming along that will tend to make things break down. If you either want to get something new and exciting started, or get out of something that doesn’t work for you anymore, we’ve got what you need!

First of all, don’t expect to get too much done at work on Monday. Everyone generally hates Mondays, and the Moon is in Sagittarius. Moon in Sagittarius doesn’t normally foster solid work habits, especially when it’s Void of Course most of the day like it will be this Monday. Don’t be afraid to lay low and/or goof around as much as possible: you have permission from your astrologer!

On Tuesday, the general romantic tone shifts as Venus enters Gemini and then, almost immediately thereafter, opposes Mars (but you will feel the effects of this transit throughout the first part of the week). Any Venus-Mars aspect tends to make sexual urges stronger, but the opposition is a particularly frisky situation. That, and it may be a cliché but it’s true: Gemini loves to talk, and Venus in Gemini is a good placement for talking someone into something… even if that someone is yourself.

On Thursday, Jupiter square Saturn becomes exact. This aspect has been in effect for some time now, and you may have noticed that as a result commitments and agreements have been harder to keep functional. Jupiter is the natural ruler of commitments, and it’s Saturn’s job to challenge things. When joined together by the always-challenging square aspect, it can be hard to know when to stay, whether to go, and where to invest you time and energy. With the exact aspect, you may notice some of your more problematic relationships making even more confusion for you than usual.

Finally: if what you crave is a big emotional blast, Sunday is your day! Moon in Pisces always brings an extra helping of emotion to any situation, but this Sunday that Moon makes no less than seven major aspects to other planets. Depending on the state of your personal life, you’ll want to get out and take advantage of it… or turn off your phone and hide in bed.

Using Synastry to guide your human interactions

For the last few months I’ve been travelling the world.
And while doing so I’ve been experimenting with Synastry.
Specifically I’ve been studying if it’s accuracte in predicting my interactions with people.
And I found that it is very accurate.

As a result I now let Synastry largely guide my life.
Socially, romantically, emotionally, profesionally.
I ask people’s horoscope, and based on this I decide who I hang out with, and how I approach the relationship.
Or rather the astrology tends to correctly predict how these things will work out. Knowing this in advance just seems to give me an edge: to enhance the positive energies, and handle the negative energies.

I also found returning patterns.
Certain synastry aspects that I seem to keep running into wherever I go.

More on my experiences later, feel free to comment.

Mars in Virgo, Moon in Pisces Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Opposites attract when Mars in Virgo sweeps in to aid Moon in Pisces’ damsel in distress, and when Pisces thrills to Virgo’s competence. The opposition causes tension between Virgo precision and Pisces dreams, but this also creates the chemistry that inspires to each to reach out for what the other offers.

Mars in Virgo is Mr. Fixit. He’s motivated to help his partner with efficient, precise actions. But Mars in Virgo is also motivated by flaws and crises. Despite his distaste for chaos, part of him thrives when things are broken. It may be a stretch to say that he’s turned on by his partner’s difficulties, but he certainly feels empowered when he can step in and make it all better.

Moon in Pisces needs a safe, quiet space. She also needs an understanding partner. While she’ll give to the point of sacrifice, she is so easily drained that her partner must know when to back off and give her time to recharge. Moon in Pisces does best with a partner who is more practical than she is. Her need for transcendence and escape mean that she’s not fully grounded, and doesn’t always care about the mundane realities of life.

Mars in Virgo will sense Pisces’ need for her structure, and he’ll be fired up by this opportunity to take control. Moon in Pisces will respond to Virgo’s ultra-helpfulness with gratitude and relief, as she collapses into his arms. Here’s a partner who will take care of the tedious details, while responding to her sensitivity. Virgo will be frustrated by Pisces’ incomprehension of daily necessities, as he tries (and fails) to impose his routines on her. But some of Virgo’s structure might rub off on her, while Pisces can soothe him when he gets tied into anxious knots. The danger of this combination lies with each partner becoming stuck in exaggerated versions of themselves: Virgo as the fussy nurse, and Pisces as the helpless patient.

Tired of Living in Fear

I’m kind of having a moment right now. I’ve been studying different types of astrology and began researching solar arcs. I saw some activity in my 8th house and immediately began thinking of death and sent myself into a fit of anxiety.

I’m just so tired of this pace. I hate being afraid of death. I hate being hypersensitive to every part of my body and assuming the worst. I hate hwo the anxiety physically manifests. I just want to know, is there any sign of hope for me in this area? I just want relief and normalcy

How to Tell if Venus in Aries Likes You Back

So you’ve got your eye on a Venus in Aries person. This planet/sign combo doesn’t hold back when indicating attraction. Venus in a Mars-ruled sign means passion and directness are in order, so you won’t have to guess if he or she is into you. But winning Venus in Aries’ affection is a bit more complicated.

The Challenge

Are you ready to fight for what you want? You may not have to literally put up your fists, but Venus in Aries is attracted to courage and boldness. If you can demonstrate these qualities, you have an excellent chance of grabbing her attention. She wants someone who’s not afraid to put his feelings on the line, and someone who knows exactly what he wants. She’s attracted to directness, and her response will be just as direct: yes or no. She won’t be coy, so if you’re not sure if she’s into you, she probably isn’t. If she is into you, she won’t be shy about touching you and making direct eye contact. And these gestures will not be platonic.

She may make things a bit difficult for you. She loves challenges, so she may want you to prove yourself. If there’s some risk involved, even better. What this consists of will depend on the rest of her chart. It could range from joining her on a free-climbing expedition to breaking your company’s no-dating rule and asking her out. If she has other suitors, she’ll want you to compete for her affection. Bonus points if someone else is interested in you. This will fire her competitive spirit, and she’ll indicate (not so subtly) that she’s the one you should be focusing on. Watch for aggressive flirting, with a bold sexual vibe. She knows she’s hot, and she’s not shy about it.

Now What?

You’ve successfully proved to Venus in Aries that you’re up for his challenge.  At first, he won’t hold back his passionate expressions. You’ll think no one has even been as committed as this guy, because of his sheer force of will. He’ll want you, and only you, ASAP, all the time. Even better, he’ll want the relationship to keep moving forward. There will be no hesitation, and no shrinking back from total involvement in your life. There may be plenty of talk about your future with him. At times, you may feel that he’s racing ahead when the two of you haven’t even established what you’re doing today. Routine is a buzz kill for Venus in Aries, and “what’s next” keeps him happy.

Progress is great, but eventually, even the most vital relationship will hit a point when things stop being fresh and new. This is when Venus in Aries will start to get restless, and you’ll be confronted with his unexpected complexity. He really wants to be with someone, but he’s essentially independent. There may be abrupt confrontations and moodiness. If he’s frustrated, it means he’s getting bored. What happens next will depend on his self-awareness. Know that he is attracted to conflict. He’ll do better in a partnership where there’s some adventure and vitality. If that’s lacking, he may trigger conflict by withholding his affection. This creates a mini crisis, which will get him fired up, and he’ll renew the bonds of passion because suddenly everything feels vital again. Obviously this is not the healthiest way to conduct a relationship, although some form of conflict may always be present in a Venus in Aries partnership. He doesn’t want to get too comfortable.

It’s possible for him to wander, because he’s attracted to risk and newness. This is more likely to happen if his existing relationship becomes stagnant. In general, a confident, autonomous partner with a strong sense of direction in life will keep him happy.

I lost my spectacles!! where is it?

Here’s the chart I created. Please tell me where my Spectacles are! The time where I could have lost my specs was while I was walking home (by travelling from fourth floor to lift to flat) to sometime after I left the house again (by travelling from flat to lift to first floor)

I could have lost it on the first floor, fourth floor, lift, or in my flat, of my condominium. I search all over my flat but I still can’t find it. I don’t know much about Horary, but if you need me to describe the environment of the first floor, fourth floor, lift, or my flat, here it is:
The first floor: rough stoney walkway, has several water features, grass patch and plants along the walkway, unsheltered (except for lift lobby)
The fourth floor: swimming pool, rough stoney walkway, grass patch and plants along the walkway, unsheltered (except for lift lobby)
Lift: there are 2 lifts
flat: On the 17th storey. 1 bedroom, 1 studyroom, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 toilet (I only list the places in my house I went to around the time I lost my specs)

It could also be picked up by someone else, if it is, who has it and where is it?

Love Horoscope for the Week of May 16

weeklyloveThe week begins with a gentle call to action and ends with a potential bang, thanks in both cases to the Moon. If the biggest thing your life requires right now is a gentle and diplomatic approach, or a bit of demolition or reconstruction, time your actions accordingly and you’re far more likely to get optimum results.

This could be a particularly constructive early in the week, since the helpful and supportive Moon in Libra makes a pleasant sextile aspect to both Mars and Saturn, which are both tremendously useful for getting things done. Don’t worry: I haven’t forgotten that this is a Romance Forecast and not “The Weekly Report From Accounting.” If you like things sexier, we’ll get to that by the weekend.

Wednesday and Thursday have a peculiar energy going for them, or rather, a peculiar lack of energy. On Wednesday the Moon is void of course in Libra for most of the day, and then on Thursday the Moon is in Scorpio but performs no major aspects to any other planet (other than a late evening trine to Neptune, which is mostly good for sleeping anyway). Don’t plan for anything new to get off the ground on the first day, and prepare yourself for a slow start if you start something new on the second day.

On Friday the Sun enters Gemini. The general effect this will have is one of enlivening the social scene and making your interactions brighter. Specifically: have a look at the Gemini House in your birth chart. That’s where you’re likely to see a lot of action in the next month. Also, it may be a cliché but it’s still absolutely true: Gemini knows how to talk a good game and your sales skills (literal or figurative) are likely to improve in the next thirty days.

All the potential fun and drama of the dating scene this weekend is amplified by a Full Moon in the early degrees of Sagittarius. A Full Moon always turns up the volume on interpersonal shenanigans, and no Full Moon does it better than one in Sagittarius. Further adding to the excitement are aspects that the Moon makes on Saturday to both Venus and Mars.

Finally, we end the week with two pieces of good news for astrology fans everywhere. First of all: if you’ve found that a lot of your communications and short trips and transactions and such have gone strange, you’ll be pleased to know that Mercury retrograde ends on Sunday. If you’re the kind of person who loves to have an astrological reason for everything that might go wrong, there is also good news. Mercury will still be in its Shadow Period until June 6th, when it makes up for the distance it lost during the retrograde period. See how helpful astrology can be? You’re welcome.

Scorpio: to keep or discard?

Scorpio may be the least likable sign of the zodiac…and man, they get a bad wrap in astrology. But Scorpio used to be different (at least its boundaries) and original astrology included Ophiuchus (the serpent bearer) long before the Intl Astronomers Union (IAU) in 1930 moved the constellation boundaries across the ecliptic to make Ophiuchus “again” a zodiacal sign.

Libra (the scales) was thought to been developed from rearrangement of the zodiac in ancient times, it was originally Scorpio’s “claws” and represented anyone born Sep 23-Oct 23 while Ophiuchus is for Oct 23-Nov 23 birthdates. If we have Ophiuchus and no Libra, the gender, element and nature, as well planetary rulers of the 12 signs will be greatly altered.

And there’s a threat by some astrologers to remove Scorpio from the 12-sign astrological zodiac completely and replace them with Ophiuchus, which doesn’t sit well with proud Scorpios as they take pride in belonging to the darkest zodiacal sign. Should we get rid of Scorpio or keep the fatal scorpion? Scorpios don’t hurt anyone and they’re misunderstood. :whistling:

Mars in Virgo, Moon in Aquarius Compatibility

Mars in Virgo will attempt to apply his specific methodologies to the relationship, and this will clash with Moon in Aquarius’ need to do things her way. However, both these signs are eccentric, and this commonality may be what keeps them together.

Mars in Virgo has specific solutions. He can become obsessive about doing things the “right” way. The best partner for him will accommodate this, while not allowing his focus on perfection to dominate the relationship. Mars in Virgo’s efforts are based on his desire to make things better, but they are also his way of creating crisis as a vehicle for improvement. His partner should also understand that his routines are sacred. He’s open to change, but he’s not open to interference with his solutions.

Moon in Aquarius needs to have things her way. She’s not controlling; she values freedom too much. But she is incredibly stubborn, especially if her partner insists on doing something that limits her freedom, alone time or peculiar habits. The stereotype of “revolutionary” is applied to her sign, but Moon in Aquarius does have habits — they’re just atypical. For the most part, she is open to almost anything her partner does or suggests, as long as those things do not conflict with her individuation.

Mars in Virgo will obsess about the little things that Moon in Aquarius won’t care about. The challenges to this will involve their mismatched set of priorities, as Virgo’s focus on crisis barely impacts Aquarius. Mars in Virgo may get bent out of shape about this, until he realizes that Aquarius’ detached perspective won’t change. The positives in this mismatch can be revealed if these two accept each other’s differences. If Virgo can avoid insisting that Aquarius do things a certain way, Aquarius’ detachment can remind him that he only has so much control. Virgo and Aquarius should recognize that they are both quirky individuals who dislike having anyone interfere with their approaches. If they agree to respect each other’s areas of concern, this odd union can work out.

Saturn and the Moon

Saturn is the higher octave of the Moon. In the historical time of jewish mysticism, Saturn was associated with “Binah” who was referred to as the “great mother”. The Moon, however, was associated with “Yesod” who was also associated with the maternal aspect. Yesod and Binah, both being associated with the “mother” archetype, also shared another striking similarity: Foundation. However, While Binah and Saturn were associated with an earthy nature, the Moon was associated with a watery nature. The element of water, in astrology, is associated with the subconscious mind, and the eath element is associated with the physical universe (including earth). Yesod, or the moon, was the Foundation of our mind (the subconscious), while Saturn was the Foundation of physicality (science or physics).

Five Things Never to Say to a Scorpio

If you’ve ever been involved with a Scorpio, you know he or she can be deeply loving, passionate and committed. You also know Scorpio can be deeply uncompromising on a few subjects. Scorpio will go to the ends of the earth for you, but there are certain words that should never cross your lips if you want this sign in your life.

“Let’s Keep it Casual”

Statements that indicate you want to see other people also fall under the “keep it casual” umbrella. If Scorpio is into you, he’s already decided he wants a full-on relationship, even if this is your first date. He’s energized by merging, exclusivity, and the deep exploration that can happen between two people. If you decide you’re not ready for anything serious, you’ve lost him. He has no interest in superficial connections, or in competing with others for your affection. He may briefly try to “convince” (seduce) you, but he knows when he’s wasting his energy. There will be no second date, and any interest he initially showed in you will vanish. Forget about follow-up flirting and “what does he mean by that” texts. He’s moved on.

“Lighten Up”

Also, any version of “You’re freaking me out with your intensity.” These words will be interpreted as a direct attack on who Scorpio is. Whether this is your response to her probing questions, unbroken eye contact, or her desire to push past certain limits in the bedroom, you’re demonstrating that you’re like all the others who were scared off by her intensity. Even if you’re joking, be careful. It’s a hot-button issue, because she’s well aware that she scares people off, but she’s not going to apologize for this. If you’re just getting to know Scorpio, she’ll take this as a sign that you’re not the right person for her. If you’re already in a relationship, and she reveals a deeper layer that catches you off guard, this will be a major turn-off. She may not walk out the door, but she’ll withdraw. She’ll be deeply hurt, and she’ll also ponder if she can move forward with you.

“I Went Through Your Email/Journal”

This actually falls under the category of “Things Not to Do to a Scorpio.” But if you get the urge to snoop, don’t think for a second that coming clean (to ease your guilt or catch him in a lie) will work in your favor. Scorpio wants to have an all-access pass to your secrets, and he’s certainly revealed a few of his own. But if there’s something he’s holding back, he’s just not ready to share it. He may reveal it in the future (on his terms) or he may never let you in to that particular corner of his life. His privacy is absolutely sacred, and violating it will have two possible consequences: you’ll infuriate him and/or he’ll leave you. Scorpio’s anger is a nerve-wracking thing to experience, because it’s triggered when he feels his survival is being threatened. And it doesn’t blow over quickly. This may seem like an extreme reaction, but his boundaries are non-negotiable. You’re showing him you can’t be trusted, and the odds of forgiveness are slim.

“I Flirted With ___”

Include any scenario where you didn’t “technically” cheat, but your actions were not 100% loyal. This is another example of things to not do, but if you’re feeling guilty and decide that fessing up will help, think again. Scorpio’s intense love and loyalty for you also comes with a generous does of jealousy. You may even think that confessing will spice things up by keeping her on her toes (she’ll know that others find you desirable). Wrong. What this will do is send her out the door, permanently. You’ve violated her trust. In her books, not quite cheating is the same as cheating.  If she doesn’t walk out, expect an ice age as she freezes you out by denying you her love and affection. Yes, she’s punishing you. And it will take a long, long time for her to thaw.

“I’m Not in The Mood to Have Sex”

This is a tricky one, because no one should feel pressured to have sex when they don’t want to. And realistically, it’s ok to say this sometimes. If you’re not in the mood occasionally, your Scorpio partner will respect this. But if this becomes a regular thing, you’re denying him his primary mode for expressing love and maintaining the partnership’s bond. Sex is important to Scorpio. All the deep conversations are great, but at the end of the day, he wants to get as close to you as he possibly can. Merging must take place on all levels, and sex is much more than a physical release for him — it’s how he renews his energy. Obviously, if you develop medical issues that prevent you from being intimate, he’ll patiently stick by you until the issues are resolved. But if a relationship becomes celibate, with no sign of revival, Scorpio will eventually move on. If you’re feeling unattractive because you’ve gained a few pounds, or you’re just too tired (all the time), know that eventually he’ll run out of patience.
