Mars in Scorpio, Moon in Libra Compatibility

Mars in Scorpio will be way too heavy for Moon in Libra’s delicate emotional balance. His demand for raw authenticity could make Libra feel overwhelmed, while her need to please may come across as fake to Scorpio. Are there any areas of compatibility between these two?

Mars in Scorpio will push for a real relationship. He’s energized by passion, honesty and taboo-busting sexuality. Mars in Scorpio is turned on by what lies beneath the surface of a partnership, after the mask has dropped and the real face of his lover has emerged. His partner may find his insistence (and desire for control) to be a bit much, but there’s no questioning his absolute loyalty.

Moon in Libra needs a happy relationship. This sounds simplistic, but it actually reflects her need for harmony. And for Moon in Libra, harmony means a happy partner. On the positive side, this makes her an instinctive compromiser and diplomat. On the downside, she can lose track of her needs as she does everything to keep the peace and attend to her lover’s desires.

Mars in Scorpio will push Libra into uncomfortable territory, urging her to be honest and express what she’s really feeling. Moon in Libra will find this invasive. Initially, she may do as Scorpio says, but this will displease him as he senses that she’s only “opening up” to make him happy. He’ll push her harder, looking for a confrontation. She’ll pull away, pretending that everything is fine. Mars in Scorpio may be attracted to the challenge of breaking Libra’s surface, but this will be precisely what Moon in Libra dislikes about him. If other aspects in their charts draw them together, Scorpio could teach Libra about her own emotional authenticity, and Libra could balance out some of Scorpio’s more extreme impulses. But each will have to accept the other’s very different energy.

Four Reasons Why You Would Fall Hard For a Sagittarius

Credit: jacoblund via iStockphoto

Credit: jacoblund via iStockphoto

Sagittarius is ruled by the planet of expansion and optimism; what’s not to love? When Sag key words include “exploration,” “inspiration,” and “abundance,” you know you’re in for a good time. This sign combines a zealous approach to life with an easygoing attitude. If you don’t fall for a Sagittarius, at the very least, you’ll want to be his friend.

1. No Limits

Sag doesn’t believe in halfway measures. He sees no reason to be quiet about anything, including his feelings for you. If he’s into you, you’ll know it due to his unabashed declarations. His complete lack of shyness and self-consciousness results in a charming display of whopper-sized affection. He simply doesn’t care if he looks foolish, as he tells the whole world how amazing/sexy/funny you are. He’ll do this, even if he’s not sure how you feel about him. He’s sure you’ll fall for him eventually. This is not ego, it’s simply his faith that things will work out for the best. If they don’t, that’s cool.  If he does do something embarrassing, he laughs about it, along with everyone else.

“Away” is another key Sag word, and this is where you’ll be swept to. Sag will take you anywhere different. It could be a new restaurant, new part of the country, or new country. He lives for adventure and wants you to be his companion. He will generously offer to include you in whatever he’s doing and wherever he’s going, because he’s not exclusive or guarded. The meal/trip/purchase will be large. What’s the point in taking a small bite, when you can gorge yourself on the experience? There’s more than enough to go around. Even if you’ve just met, he’ll make you feel like you’ve always known each other. His optimism is contagious — hanging with Sagittarius can expand your sense of what’s possible. Part of his magic lies in his ability to make you see why his crazy ideas are entirely possible.

2. It’s All Good

One of the benefits of his relaxed attitude combined with his zest for life is a decidedly playful approach to intimacy. Sex is something to be enjoyed. The more there is, the better it is, and his lack of inhibition means that he’ll open some new doors for you. But it’s all in good fun — no pressure, no demands. All he asks is that you enjoy yourself as much as does.

This relaxed but energetic approach is applied to life in general, and other people can sense it. Most people like him and want to be around him. Whether or not he has a ton of friends, his social circle will be large and ever-shifting. There’s something very appealing about how he can talk to anyone, be it the waitress, his co-workers or your mother. And there’s nothing forced about his conversation. If he does say something politically incorrect, he somehow makes it sound charming. He’s the guy least likely to hold a grudge or get angry. Life’s too short to dwell on what’s unpleasant, so he’s always looking at the bright side. If there is no bright side, he’s looking for what’s next. Because even if things go spectacularly wrong, there’s something better coming up. His lack of anxiety is the perfect antidepressant.

3. Expand Your Mind

Sagittarius is not just a party girl. She loves to have a good time, but she also wants to learn. She’s always on the lookout for new ideas, books, movies or philosophies. Anything that sounds unusual will teach her something. She’s a potent combination of physical thrill-seeker and intellectual adventurer. After the experience, she’ll want to discuss it with you. She’s probably well-read, or at least very curious. And she’ll have a strong opinion on each of the broad range of topics she checks out. You may not agree with her opinions, and that’s part of the fun. There’s nothing she loves more than a good debate — as long as things don’t get ugly. While she can be dogmatic, she avoids the low, verbal blows. If she senses that people are starting to get wound up, she’ll throw out a joke to keep things light. She can argue aggressively for her views if she feels strongly enough, but she’s not vicious about it. Some of her statements will be blunt and tactless, but that’s more about her lack of attention to the finer points.

4. Sagittarius/Jupiter in Your Chart

If you’re going to fall hard for a Sag, there must be something in your chart that gives you the urge for more — a dissatisfaction with the mundane, or a lust for adventure. If you have the following natal characteristics, you’re more likely to fall hard for a Sagittarius:

  • Sagittarius on the 7th House cusp, Jupiter in the 7th House, 7th House ruler in hard aspect to Jupiter: your ideal relationship, and the projected qualities you admire, have you searching for someone to broaden your horizons. Whatever your daily life consists of, you look to your partner to supply the fun and new possibilities.
  • Venus or Mars in the 9th House, or in hard aspect to Jupiter: love and sex are big deals to you. You have a lot to give, and you want a lot in return. Not just any lover can match your enthusiasm and generosity. Fortunately, you tend to attract those who understand abundance and adventure.

Love Horoscope for the Week of September 26

weeklyloveThe week starts out with a Monday where it’s hard to take work entirely seriously. Both Sun conjunct Jupiter and Moon in Leo are better suited to partying than to balancing the accounts or filing those TPS reports. That’s a shame, because not only is Mercury off its retrograde, but Pluto also goes direct on Monday, and both of those events will make it a lot easier to get things done. Good thing this is a Love Horoscope and not Your Weekday Drone Advisor, otherwise I’d be in a lot of trouble this week.

Nothing changes the tone of love lives in general like Mars changing sign, and on Tuesday Mars enters Capricorn. This is the sign in which Mars is exalted, so therefore it does its best work. Mars rules the sex drive, so if “maximum efficiency and application of energy” doesn’t sound very romantic to you, well… you’re probably right, but it can be sexy as hell.

Take advantage of Wednesday’s conditions to set up your plans for the weekend. Moon in Virgo is sweet but wise, and both an opposition to Neptune and a trine to Pluto set up a sense of romance. Don’t even bother with Thursday, though — the Moon is Void of Course all day long. Don’t be surprised if your plans go exactly nowhere that day.

The weekend sets up the conditions for plenty of potential success when it comes to your love life. First of all, on Friday there is the New Moon in Libra. I often tell people that the New Moon is an excellent time to set out your intentions as to what you want to change in your life. Combined with the relationship symbolism of Libra, this one should be a no-brainer. Put some thought into your love life in general (and this weekend specifically), come up with some goals, then make them happen. The middle of the day sees the Moon in Libra both conjunct and occult Jupiter, and this will be in effect for most of the evening. Did you follow my advice about setting up a date on Wednesday? Because this could be the evening that really pays off.

The dominant aspect this weekend is Venus trine Neptune which is exact on Saturday but has an influence throughout the entire weekend. Neptune is sometimes referred to as “the higher Octave of Venus.” That’s kind of a fancy way of saying that this weekend features a double Venus. Or, if you prefer, Venus turned up to 11.

Finally, if the whole sweetness and light thing isn’t your style, try making your move on Sunday evening. Moon in Scorpio will be sextile Mars in Capricorn… or, as the ancient astrologers called it, “sexy time.”

Is it more than just feeling a little off?

I have never attempted medical horary chart reading. I have been feeling very off lately. I am usually very healthy and I rarely get a cold. Recently I have been out of energy and feeling out of focus.
I had an infected tooth that I had for a while.
I had it removed just recently but I am wondering if something got into my system. I asked the question “am I sick’

For medical horary I think there needs to be three key factors analyzed:
the Ascendant and its ruler (these represent the querent),
the Moon, and the sixth house and its ruler, which describe the illness.

The ascendant is Cancer and its ruler is conjunct the asc.
The 6th house ruler is Jupiter but Mars and Saturn are also occupying the 6th house..

Mars in Scorpio, Moon in Virgo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Mars in Scorpio’s powerful sex drive may seem too much for virtuous Moon in Virgo, but these two are actually very compatible. Scorpio’s efforts to go beneath the surface will feel natural to Virgo, because she’s in constant fix-it mode. And, she has a surprising streak of sensuality that Scorpio will unlock.

Mars in Scorpio only takes action when he means it. He’s not a casual guy — everything he does is meant to uncover the truth or push a limit. This makes Mars in Scorpio a demanding partner, but he is also intensely loyal and patient. When he has dedicated himself to a relationship, he pours his considerable will, sexual energy and determination into it.

Moon in Virgo needs an upgrade. Not because there’s anything wrong with her, but because she needs to feel like she’s being productive. This means her partner and relationship will be under constant scrutiny, because she only feels secure when she’s making little refinements. Moon in Virgo can be a ball of anxiousness, but she’s also endlessly devoted to the health and happiness of her lover.

Moon in Virgo will sense Scorpio’s deeply-rooted strength, as well as his drive to get to the bottom of everything. This will relax her (as much as she’s able to relax) because finally she’ll have met someone who cares as much as she does about understanding he hows and whys. But Mars in Scorpio will be much calmer about it, and he’ll patiently work through her knots of worry. Scorpio will be protective towards Moon in Virgo, while appreciating her need for analysis. He’ll also get satisfaction from opening her up in a way that no one ever has.

How to Tell if Venus in Cancer Likes You Back

If you’re into someone with Venus in Cancer, know that you’ll be dealing with a mother and child. She can be incredibly tender, loving and empathetic, intuiting your most basic needs. But before you can access her empathy, you must convince her inner child that you’re safe.

The Shell

If you’re not sure how to approach Venus in Cancer, picture her curled up inside a protective shell. Hence her initial shyness, even if she seems friendly enough on the surface. You don’t smash your way into the shell with aggressive moves. Rather, you approach gently, coaxing her to open up with evidence that you can be trusted. She’s attracted to people with whom she can form a secure and loving relationship. You’ll know you’ve hit the right note if she starts to offer care and concern, like a gentle shoulder squeeze when you’re feeling down. If she listens to your problems or offers the exact thing you need in the moment (a hug, a phrase that makes you feel better, a cup of coffee) it’s a good bet that she likes you back. Physical contact is huge — Venus in Cancer does not touch someone unless she wants to get closer. Bonus if she shares some things about her childhood; this means she’s feeling secure enough to let you in.

Let’s say all of the above has happened, and you’re heading out on your first “date.” Go slow. It may not be a date, just yet. If she’s offered to cook for you or let you cry on her shoulder, this does not necessarily mean she wants anything romantic. She’s so hardwired to be the mother that she will nurture you, even if her feelings are strictly platonic.

You won’t know what the deal is until she makes the first move. Even then, it’s tricky. She’s a Cardinal sign, so she’s inclined to start things. But she’s so self-protective that she starts things indirectly. She won’t pounce on you. You’ll have to pick up on her hints, like increased physical contact with flirtatious undertones. If you move too fast, she’ll shut down. But you’ll probably have to make some kind of move. Things don’t progress in a straight line with Venus in Cancer; it’s all about how she’s feeling in the moment. Sex will probably not be a first-date thing, because it takes time for her to warm up. But once you get to the point where you and she are intimate, it’s a safe bet that she’ll want a relationship with you. It’s very difficult for her to have casual sex, because she’s vulnerable once she’s let you in.

Inside The Shell

Life with Venus in Cancer will be emotional. His sign is ruled by the Moon, so his desires and expressions of love will fluctuate. He’ll be in mother mode most of the time as he nourishes you and creates a cozy, domestic paradise. But he can also slide back into child mode. It doesn’t take much to trigger his insecurities, and he may expect you to intuit what he wants, just as he is able to sense what you want. The trouble is, most people aren’t as sensitive as he is. So if he pouts or withdraws, it’s probably because you haven’t fulfilled one of his unspoken needs. This is where it’s important to establish open lines of communication, and let him know that you’re more than willing to make him happy — but you’re not a mind reader.

However, even when he’s in a secure relationship, Venus in Cancer will mix love with high emotion. He is not cool and detached, even when he appears to have it all under control. So you’d better be comfortable with random surges of tears, laughter and love. And, he probably has a strong attachment to his family, or at least the memory of his family. Whether or not his childhood was a happy one, it will play a major role in the relationship. He may want to start a family with you, consisting of children, pets or a close circle of friends.

The domestic relationship you build with Venus in Cancer will be sacred. This is where he must feel safe. So the quickest way to destroy the relationship is to damage the safety of his domestic environment. There are many ways you can do this. You can cheat on him, spend a lot of time away from home, or disrespect his domestic rituals. Your frequent outbursts of anger or emotional detachment will also do the trick. Anything that makes him feel he is no longer secure in his home and relationship will trigger his shield and send him out the door. You’ve seen his soft side, but don’t underestimate his ability to protect himself.

Will I meet someone in October?

I have been waiting for transiting Jupiter to conjunct my Natal Mercury (7th house ruler) since July. This is about to happen in few weeks so I casted an horary chart to know if I’ll meet someone new and important/ relationship material during that time.

This is what I got:

Me – Jupiter in Libra/Moon in Taurus
Someone new – Mercury in Virgo/Sun in Virgo (I say the Sun because it is in the 7th so it is obvious that the luminary also represents the quesited)

My ruler is in the 7th and burning by the Sun!
And Moon trines Sun, so this tell me I’ll meet someone but…

Will it be bad??? Reception is awful (I won’t like him?)… Mercury is Retro in his own 12th… (someone from the past?)

Im think this will be a fiasco.

5th vs 7th house?

Hello everyone! Ok so few days now i decided to learn some things about horary astrology…i love astrology in general so as i was searching i got lost between the 5th and the 7th house! When do we take the ruler of the 5th house as the significator of the quesited? How do we even choose which house is the best to describe the quesited in relational issues? In Greek sites i saw that if someone is asking about a potential lover while being in a relationship or marriage then the 5th is the right house of the quesited. Another thing i read was that the 5th is the house of love..the house that describes the first feelings of a love affair. Last thing i read was here in a question a woman made.. she decided to use the 5th house as best suited for the man she was asking about.. so i am a little confused on whether we all use the right houses and whether we take the right answers or not.. Anyone that knows about these stuff i would love to learn! :)

Love Horoscope for the Week of September 19

weeklyloveIt’s going to be a little harder than usual for you to remain focused at work this Monday. Venus sextile Mars is exact today and carries on throughout the first part of the week. Normally a sextile is a quiet and pleasant little aspect, but when Venus and Mars are involved, it adds an additional sexual charge to the usual activities of the day. Save that energy for after business hours. If you’ve been lobbying for the affections of someone who’s been a little uncertain, now could be the time to lay on the maximum persuasion.

Mercury is a big player this week, so get ready to express yourself. Mercury trine Pluto is exact on Tuesday, which can add unusual strength and depth to your words and your emails. If you needed a breakthrough with someone, you might be able to talk them into it this week.

Mercury retrograde ends on Thursday, so when you screw up that quarterly report or important message, you’ll need to blame something else. Do what the astrologers do: blame it on the Mercury retrograde Shadow Period (when Mercury makes up the ground it’s lost since the retrograde started), which is in effect until October 6th. It’s not as perilous as the retro period… but it’s bad enough, thank you.

The Sun enters Libra on Thursday. This means that in the next month, you’ll be buying birthday presents for people who may very well have better taste in these things than you do.

Just in time for the weekend dating scene, Venus enters Scorpio on Friday. You may have heard that Venus in Scorpio is a so-called “debilitated” placement. True, Venus may not have the same grace and charm that it did while passing through Libra, but Venus in Scorpio knows how to turn the sexy up to eleven. If witty banter and knowing which wine pairs with which entree didn’t make for successful dating, try walking in those Scorpio shoes for a while. You know, the stilettos.

Friday and Saturday the Moon is in Cancer, and that can make for additional soulfulness, but you’re better off exploiting those conditions on Friday than on Saturday (if we are talking about a first date or something new), since the Moon will be Void of Course on Saturday evening. Sunday, the Moon enters Leo and lends some dramatic flair to your love life, especially mid-day when the Moon is square Venus.

Mars in Scorpio, Moon in Leo Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

This relationship will be a clash of two very powerful people. Mars in Scorpio’s relentless drive and Moon in Leo’s all-consuming need to be number one will result in a locked-down stalemate. But if they can find a way to work together, this couple will be unstoppable.

Mars in Scorpio pushes himself and his partner.  Limits and secrets are things to be decimated, in his quest to get what he wants. This makes him a lover whose passion takes his partner beyond what she thought was possible. But it also makes Mars in Scorpio ferociously uncompromising.

Moon in Leo needs to be the center of her relationship. Before her generosity and passion are released, she must feel adored, not just loved. If her partner treats her like royalty, she’ll treat him like royalty (as long she comes first). Unhappy Moon in Leo can flip from benevolent monarch to angry child, with dramatic displays of temper meant to reclaim her partner’s attention — or teach him a lesson.

Mars in Scorpio will not give in to Leo’s demands, and Moon in Leo will feel challenged by Scorpio. When she needs romance and luxe goodies, he’ll brush her requests aside and deliver deadly-serious sex. However, the tension between them can translate into significant attraction, and each will resonate with the other’s power. What would intimidate weaker partners won’t phase these two. And Moon in Leo will certainly enjoy Scorpio’s obsessive attentions, as she becomes the center of his universe. If they can find a way to respect each other’s different needs and desires, they could create a union held together by sheer force of will.

Natal Indicators of Divorce

There are certain natal aspects associated with divorce, but that’s not the only way they can play out. The planets involved appear to be complete opposites: one deals with the disruption of rules, and the other is all about rules. What the aspects have in common is a certain response to the pressure of commitment and tradition. If you have any of the following characteristics in your natal chart, know that awareness can mean the difference between a happy marriage and divorce.

Uranus

When Uranus is in your 7th House, or makes hard aspects to your relationship planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars) or ruler of your 7th House, you have a strong drive for liberation and independence. Uranus acts like an enormous surge of electricity that switches on and off at unpredictable times. Restlessness and intolerance of restrictions is a hallmark. Often, a disruptive or shocking event in childhood created the template for your adult responses. It can be difficult to reconcile this with the stability required for a successful marriage.

Uranus will express itself via the planet it touches. Sun/Uranus will trigger abrupt expressions of ego. Moon/Uranus suggests detached and unpredictable emotional reactions, plus the need for space. Venus/Uranus is about sudden attractions and difficulty making compromises. Mars/Uranus suggests unpredictable actions that can damage a relationship. In all cases, the response to the threat of loss, restriction or pain will involve an escape, courtesy of Uranus.

Venus opposite Uranus suggests an early, abrupt separation from a loved one. As an adult, there’s a feeling that when things become unpleasant, the appropriate reaction is to create distance from the uncomfortable situation. This can happen without warning, and you (the Uranus person) feel nothing. Well, you do feel something, obviously, but Uranus triggers numbness as a survival mechanism. Distance can manifest as divorce. Sometimes, Venus opposite Uranus can indicate an attraction to exciting and disruptive partners. There’s a craving for an escape from the mundane. The resulting relationship drama and divorce is the unpleasant result.

Uranus in the 7th House can project your need for freedom, and if you’re not aware of it, you can attract distorted versions in the guise of partners who shock you. While you may be the one who’s left behind as your spouse initiates a divorce (that you never saw coming), consider if there were any red flags in the early stages of the relationship. Chances are, there was something about this person that suggested a lack of tolerance for rules and commitment. People tell you who they are when you first meet them.

All natal energy is just that: energy. It’s neutral, but if it’s not directed in a constructive way, it can turn around and bite you. Everything in astrology has two sides, and Uranus is no exception. If we start from its core concept (liberation from tradition) we can see how this might be expressed in healthy — and not so healthy — ways. The key to managing this energy is to accept that, in some area of your life, you must liberate yourself. How you dealt with childhood trauma could be an issue. The next step is finding a healthy outlet, based on the house, sign and planets involved. Venus/Uranus suggests the freedom to be creative, and relate to others in a way that honors your independence. Mars/Uranus suggests a need act freely (physical action) in a way that won’t hurt others. Once you find that outlet, Uranus’ disruptive vibe is soaked up and there’s less chance of disruption in a relationship. You can become a calmer, happier person who handles relationship stress, and attracts a healthy partner — assuming you want to get married.

Saturn

Saturn is the planet of commitment, but it’s also the planet of fear and limits. In the 7th House, it can create a painful mix of intense longing for commitment and fear of being hurt. Your issues with authority, restriction and denial can be projected onto partners, so you end up with someone who is distant and controlling. Or, someone you feel safe with but don’t really love. If the relationship is not built on a mutual exchange of authority, love and happiness, divorce is more likely. Saturn in hard aspect to the relationship planets or ruler of the 7th House can also trigger these issues, but I’ve seen divorce scenarios more often with 7th House Saturn.

People google “natal Saturn in the 7th House” and come up with all sorts of horrendous articles on their “destiny” of unhappy relationships. This does not have to be the case. 7th House Saturn just means you must be aware of what you’re projecting. Go back to those Saturn themes: authority and restrictions. Take a look at the partners you’re drawn to. You’ll attract distorted versions of Saturn if you don’t own your authority in a relationship, or acknowledge your fears of being with someone you feel passion for. If you settle for the dependable partner that you don’t love, it’s a good bet that at some point things will fall apart. If you allow your partner to take control and make all the decisions, you’re putting your happiness in their hands. That never ends well. Saturn in the 7th says that you, and you alone, are responsible for your happiness in your marriage.

Should I have a baby on my own?

hi guys,
I have been thinking about having a baby on my own more and more often over the past year I guess and after a recent failure with someone that I asked about and whom I really liked, plus some additional dates that didn’t go anywhere, I decided to seriously pursue having a baby after I return from a trip from europe and get some things in order workwise, so the time frame would be AFTER february approximately when I turn 34. I really have no hopes for meeting someone normal anymore at least not at this point in my life…either men want just sex or im not attracted to the ones who want me for a relationship. Im really tired of waiting for someone normal to pop up. I am not sure what horary would say and I wanted to first to inquire as it has helped me a lot before. Am I better off having a baby on my own?

By the time I have one I would be either turning 35 or most likely I will be 35, so there’s really no time to sit around and wait for mr. right that Im not destined to apparently meet even though I get men interested in me everywhere I go, but at the end of the day it’s just doesn’t matter. Could you advise me please based on what the horary says this is very critical topic for me. I’ll have tons of support for this so I am not worried about it or scarred. My personal life will suck but it already ***** now, so no difference whatsoever, at least I will not waste time in having a baby this way lol, plus I won’t waste time looking for someone for a committed relationship after I have a child as I would be ok with casual ones and not worry that my time’s up like I do now.

I am Venus in Libra, so do I look determined and strong in this pursuit?
Babies are 5th house and I see Sun in the 5th so it is in the right place concerning my question, but sun and venus don’t aspect. I will be doing this through a sperm bank as it will give me an opportunity to pretty much pick the type of baby I want instead of now wasting time looking to trick a man into getting pregnant, which is ridiculous. So I guess 7th house of partnership dont matter in here. I see moon trining me, venus…what would this indicate? it is in Aquarius sign. I have several solar arc, progression and transits all pointing to marriage at once, but my personal life is dead, so not counting on these transits either as I have lost complete hope in the relationship department. As far as I know I am healthy when it comes to reproductive organs. I got my hormones checked in July and they are in their normal range and also got a complete pelvic exam and trans-vaginal ultrasound and they discovered small cysts on both ovaries, but I was told that that’s no reason to cause problems for pregnancy, but I am also going to go in again soon to check and see if they disappeared, and if not, it will be kept under check regardless, so my point is that I am not infertile. I was pregnant once before 10 years ago by accident. Any advice on this chart to help me proceed on this road in the next several months to a year? Im not in a rush but I want to have one at 35 at which ever month that would be in.

Love Horoscope for the Week of September 12

weeklyloveLooking for an excuse to avoid going to work Monday? Call your local astrologer and have him or her write you a permission slip. Not only is the Moon Void of Course in Capricorn for a large portion of the day, Mercury square Mars is exact on Monday. That (plus the fact that Mercury is still retrograde) makes for excellent conditions when it comes to things like sending an inappropriately hostile e-mail to your boss or having an angry co-worker verbally attack you. Sun square Mars, which is exact on Tuesday, isn’t exactly going to help any either. Sit down, keep it to yourself, and watch the other guys blow up at each other instead. That approach is both safer and more entertaining.

Meanwhile, Jupiter spends its first full week in Libra since 2005. It’s not making any major aspects to any other planets though, but that’s okay… that year in Virgo was pretty exhausting for old Jove, and he could use the rest.

Much of Wednesday is eaten by another sizable Void of Course Moon, this time in Aquarius, which will make real productivity unlikely. The outlook for your love life improves a little Wednesday evening and Thursday as the Moon enters Pisces. Over the next two days, the Moon makes helpful aspects to several planets… so let’s not worry too much about that square to Saturn in the middle of the day Thursday.

If you like astrology and you like worrying unnecessarily about things, you will love the Lunar Eclipse on Friday. Yes, an Eclipse can bring sudden and unusual circumstances, but don’t forget that not all unusual circumstances are bad. For the most part, just treat this Eclipse as another Full Moon. Having said that, though: I’ve come to the conclusion over the years that the Full Moons in either Virgo or Pisces are the two craziest Full Moons of the year. This Pisces Full Moon/Eclipse is square Mars, so be cautious when you are out partying on Friday evening.

Weekend dating is likely to be a little more dramatic than usual, given that Mars trine Uranus is exact on Saturday and Venus opposite Uranus is exact on Sunday, with both aspects having an effect throughout the entire weekend. Powerful sexual urges and unusual attractions sound like fun, don’t they? If you were looking to set up some fun with a special someone, aim for mid-day Sunday when the Moon makes the conjunction to Uranus, amplifying the entire situation even more.

Finally, Venus sextile Mars isn’t exact until next Monday, but it’s still in effect for this weekend. When it comes to aspects that can lead to dating success, this one is about as good as it gets. Sextiles are subtle though, and usually a Venus-Mars sextile would need a nudge to get it started. But with all the other aspects hitting Venus and Mars this weekend, you should definitely use protection. I mean, protect your feelings. Yeah, that’s it…

fight for this love?

Hello, long story short: I fell in love at first sight, never felt like this before, wasn’t able to eat or sleep until I met him again, nothing compares to him..had a short connection..we are friends now..can’t get him out of my mind. My astrologer said she definitely does’t recommend to be with him as he’s got very difficult aspects and will drag me down too (she even used the term ‘cursed’). Please help me. Thank you
ps: I have attached the synastry and his chart too. I hope you can see them.

Mars in Scorpio, Moon in Cancer Compatibility

Mars in Scorpio’s relentless desire blends with Moon in Cancer’s relentless nurturing, for a passionately protective couple. They will look after each other intensely, creating a highly insular relationship.

Mars in Scorpio wants one thing: his partner. Once he zeroes in on the person he wants to posses, he’ll focus all his energy on creating a two-becomes-one scenario. Intimacy equals merging for Mars in Scorpio — he must have complete access to his lover’s mind, body and soul. In return, he’ll offer his absolute loyalty and fierce protectiveness.

Moon in Cancer is all about the cycle of nurturing. She needs to be needed in order to feel safe. But she must feel safe before she will open up and nurture. This means a partner who supplies security — but who is also ready to be looked after — is essential. Moon in Cancer can be very possessive — her partner becomes her family and her territory. If she senses that her lover is slipping out of her cozy grip, her insecurities will be triggered.

Mars in Scorpio will be attracted to Cancer’s need for intimacy, and Moon in Cancer will feel secure with Mars in Scorpio’s exclusive focus. While some partners might find Scorpio’s intensity to be overwhelming, it will feed right into Cancer’s need for emotional intimacy. Other people might be suffocated by Cancer’s (s)mothering, but Scorpio will see it as proof that she knows how to get close. He’ll protect her, and she’ll care for him. Together, they’ll create their own world that gives them everything they need.

Read my Natal chart? Capricorn Sun

So I was reading this forum that basically had almost identical placements, and i was curious if my chart has any downsides?

Like for instance

1.Capricorn Sun 29 degrees in 5th thats square Jupiter, and conjunct Neptune.

2.Mars in Pisces 7th Trine Moon, square pluto, sextile saturn, square MC, Opposite AS. Despite it being a bad mars, i think it does well for me since it has mutual reception with jupiter in aries (8th)

3.Im mercury dominant, virgo AS, Gemini MC, Mercury aquarius 5th (in caps house) Square saturn wide, square jupiter, and conjunct Neptune (i think my mercury is ******)

4.Venus is sagittarius in 4th, but its conjunct lilith and trine Jupiter, dont know what that means though.

5.Saturn makes a sextile to moon and mars, trines AS, squares mercury, neptune, and uranus, idk if it’s good or bad either.

I’ve been alot more driven for myself, trying my best to do what I can to accomplish (honors classes with straight As, hitting the gym, going to play baseball, and in the process of joining the marine corps) despite me missing my ex alot, we both agreed to try to get along…but now I feel like concentrating on myself. Guys is there any bad sides to what I’ve given? How does it affect me negativetly. I really want a good military career and have a high reputation in life.

What do you guys think of my lifestyle? Reputation? Career? Relationships? The kind of person I am (ex.unpractical)?

Natal Aspects That Suggest a Big Wedding

For those inclined to get married, there’s a subgroup that wants to start things off with a bang — the massive wedding that trumpets WE ARE GETTING MARRIED. A big wedding can be a celebration of love and/or a celebration of wealth. But the common theme is public display. Certain natal aspects (of a gay or straight man or woman) encourage this. Read on to see if you (or your partner) have the potential to go big when tying the knot.

Jupiter

Natal Jupiter is where you want to expand. In many cases, it’s where you feel optimism and faith. The following aspects or positions for natal Jupiter can suggest a big wedding:

  • Jupiter in the 7th House (big relationship)
  • Jupiter conjunct, square, opposite or trine the relationship planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars) or ruler of the 7th House
  • Jupiter in the 2nd House of earned money (big spender)
  • Jupiter in the 10th House if it aspects a relationship or 7th House planet (expansion of status via the relationship)

Jupiter exaggerates. So a wedding influenced by natal Jupiter can be a mix of spending big, celebrating the giddy achievement of love and showing everyone how fabulous this union is. It will have a party atmosphere — a celebration of love that feeds your faith in the future. Jupiter aspecting the relationship planets enlarge their expression. For example, Jupiter/Sun suggests the wedding as outlet for the ego. Jupiter/Moon is the need to make everyone feel extremely happy and comfortable, plus an exaggerated expression of feelings. Moon/Jupiter people see no reason to keep their feelings hidden, and what better way to display your feelings about your future spouse?

Leo

Leo is the sign of performance and self-expression. A huge wedding is the perfect venue for someone with an emphasized natal Leo. The opulence and implication that wealth is on tap makes this elaborate display too good for Leo to pass up. The Leo bride or groom will want to impress everyone, while making themselves look as splendid as possible. Yes, this wedding will be primarily about the Leo partner, no matter how much they adore their spouse. The following natal Leo characteristics can feed the desire to show off, via a big wedding:

  • 7th or 1st House cusp in Leo, especially if the Sun is in the 1st, 5th, 7th, or 10th houses
  • relationship planets in Leo
  • Sun/Venus conjunction

Leo’s drive for unrestrained self-expression and romance can boost opulent expressions of love and commitment — the fairy-tale wedding and happily ever after, gilded with roses, icing and glitter. 7th House Leo energy is often projected energy, so in that case, it may be the partner who insists on the big wedding. But the Leo person admires those qualities, so they’ll be on board.

Capricorn

You may not think that restrained Capricorn would want the all-out wedding. But emphasized natal Capricorn can be very concerned with status and physical proof of achievement. Unlike the Jupiter or Leo weddings, the Capricorn wedding would be less over-the-top. But traditional displays of status can still be elaborate. The following natal Capricorn characteristics can indicate the desire for a big wedding:

  • 7th or 1st House cusp in Capricorn with Saturn in the 10th or 11th Houses (public displays of status)
  • relationship planets or 7th House ruler in Capricorn

Emphasized Capricorn can be austere, so there would need to be something in the mix to pump it up. Aspects from Jupiter to Capricorn planets might indicate big displays of achievement. 10th House Saturn or 10th House Capricorn Sun conjunct Venus can indicate a desire for public confirmation of love and status. Or, love as status. The big Capricorn wedding would be a celebration of the tradition of love. For example, the elaborate church wedding followed by formal dinner, everything dripping with quality and exclusivity. All family would be included, just because they’re family.
