Capricorn acts within the limits, while Moon in Sagittarius needs to explore beyond the limits. Capricorn may feel dull and controlling to Sag–the more he tries to impress her with his authority, the less interested she’ll be. However, both these signs want progress, so this could be a commonality that ties them together.

Mars in Capricorn follows the rules. He’s ambitious and driven, but you won’t find him breaking with tradition. His classic and conservative approach to courtship means that his lover can rely on him. Mars in Capricorn won’t do anything crazy, and he always follows through on his intentions. His ideal partner would be ok with him taking the reins of the relationship, because he asserts himself by taking control.

Moon in Sagittarius needs room to follow whatever takes her fancy. In her heart, she’s a wanderer, even if she’s in a committed relationship. Moon in Sag does best with a lover who accepts her laid-back approach to life. She feels passionately, but her optimism and humor can come off as uncaring at times, when she doesn’t take things seriously. She refuses to get caught up in worries or dark feelings. She feels most secure when there’s something new to discover, preferably with her partner. But if her partner’s not interested, she’s just as happy to go exploring on her own.

Mars in Capricorn’s best efforts will fail to impress Sagittarius. She’ll find him amusing, but she won’t care about the goals (like status and achievement) that drive him. If other aspects between their charts suggest chemistry, they might try to make a go of it. But there will always be tension between Capricorn’s efforts to maintain his authority and Sag’s complete disregard for his authority (and much of what he takes seriously). However, Capricorn’s ambition and Sagittarius’ need for expansion can be a point of compatibility, if they develop tolerance for each other’s differences. Capricorn can help Sagittarius manifest some of her hopes, putting in the practical work to make them happen. And Sagittarius can use her unfailing optimism to support him if he becomes discouraged.

Soulmate Theory

I heard someone say once (and I can’t remember who it was) that in charts of people who have a true soul affinity, you’ll find probably 3 conjunctions that are at a 0 degree orb. And they have to be meaningful and less common–obviously not aspects between Neptune and Pluto.

The reason for this was because kindred souls choose to incarnate at certain times, at a certain degree, under certain signs.

Like, for example, in a my synastry with the person I’m closest to, I had chiron conjunct DC at 0’03; Chiron conjunct mars at 0’10; vertex conjunct mercury at 0’04.

What do you guys think about that theory? I looked for conjunctions in my chart with others and found maybe 2 of this variety with my mom. I think there may be something to this. For me, personally, finding 3 was hard. I only found them in the chart between me and the person I’m closest to.

Love Horoscope for the Week of March 27

Think back to New Year’s Day, when you made that resolution to change something in your life. How’d that work out for you? Yeah, I thought so. The reason so many New Year’s Resolutions fail is that there is absolutely no astrological significance specific to January 1st at midnight. If you want a real beginning of a new cycle, try a New Moon in Aries, which is what’s happening Monday. If there’s something you really want to change about your life, plant your flag firmly in the ground on Monday and make it stick. Don’t make it too complicated, and don’t be too demanding — and then put in the work.

The biggest aspect happening this week is Jupiter square Pluto, which is exact on Thursday but hovers over the entire week. If that Resolution I mentioned in the last paragraph requires a bit of fanatical devotion on your part, Jupiter square Pluto can provide the moral and philosophical backbone you’ll need to build on. On the other hand, if you already have some sort of a fanatic trying to impose his/her will on your life, this could be the time when that person becomes their most dedicated. Since we are still under the influence of a mostly-unaspected (and often cranky) Mars in Taurus, this could make for some explosive situations. Then again: if your personal life is carrying a little too much dead wood, now could be the time to break out your ax.

Knowing what, where, and how to cut something or someone loose should only be done after a little rational thought. Mercury in Taurus (which happens on Friday) is a lot better suited to thinking things through than Mercury in Aries was. Any planet in Taurus doesn’t usually like to be rushed, but you might want to push it a little with your communications, short trips, and agreements: Mercury turns retrograde on April 9th, and we are in a period now called “The Mercury Storm.” No, that’s not the name of the Ford convertible your Dad drove in High School — it’s more like a sneak preview of the screwiness Mercury functions often undergo during the retrograde period.

Your weekend dating outlook has a lot to offer, despite Venus still being retrograde. On Friday and Saturday, the Moon is in Gemini, which is always good for chatting someone up. On Sunday, the Moon enters Cancer, which is a lot more soulful and heartfelt. Either way, there are two important things to keep in mind. One is that Venus retrogrades back into Pisces on Sunday, which is the Sign of Exaltation for Venus. Even though she’s retrograde, the Love Goddess might be smiling favorably upon your romantic endeavors in the next couple of weeks. And (even though Saturday is April Fool’s Day) Venus in Pisces isn’t the type of girl to lead you too far astray when it comes to romance. Deception? That’s what humans do to each other, not Love Goddesses.

I just discovered my ex is with someone else on a weekend retreat. Someone he may have already been with when he reconnected with me a month ago which makes it even worse.

She stayed late and cuddled for hours and told me she had a boyfriend after?

I guess my last title was too generic, it fell off the board due to lack of replies rather quickly lol.

Anyways to explain shortly, I began talking to this girl, whom I really have started to get an interest in. Everything was going swimmingly, I could make her laugh plenty, she seemed to enjoy spending time with me, and she ended up over for saint pattys day.

She was originally only going to stay a few hours because she had to go pick up her friend (Who I later found was her boyfriend). Instead she ended up staying and watching a movie with me till midnight, the whole time allowing me to cuddle with her. I got a bit touchy, asking if it was alright, she said yes. She only stopped me when I tried going under her clothes.

She was even about to drink some alchohol which would’ve resulted in her staying the night..

After she got home we were talking and I asked if I was too touchy and she told me she was a little uncomfortable because she had a boyfriend.

Idk whether she was actually uncomfortable or if she just felt guilty after. Any input is helpful. I just want to know if she actually has a thing for me or if I really did make her uncomfortable

Love Horoscope for the Week of March 20

After a few weeks of less than favorable conditions, the romance and relationship outlook improves somewhat this week, with Venus getting some helpful transits. Be cautious though, because Mercury is in some hot water, and Mars in Taurus is still in a pretty touchy position for managing your drives and temper.

First: let’s clear up a misconception. Monday isn’t significant because the Sun enters Aries, thus signalling the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Monday is significant because it is International Astrology Day… or at least, that’s what my astrologer tells me.

The biggest aspect influencing the midweek is Mercury square Pluto, which is exact on Thursday. This aspect can produce problems with critical thinking skills and can create organizational problems. Also, it’s a time when you may find that long-standing issues are addressed in a new and more powerful way. Like, for example, with a string of obscenities and threats that result in a restraining order. Yes, that was too dramatic a description and it put many of you on edge. See how that works?

If you have anything new (romantically or otherwise) planned for yourself, avoid starting it on Wednesday, when the Moon is Void of Course for most of the day in Capricorn.

Mars continues to stubbornly stay in its orbit, despite the fact that it knows damned well that being in Taurus is a rough neighborhood for it to be in. Furthermore, Mars spends yet another week being relatively unaspected, which means that the moodiness and unexpected flare-ups of sex drives and tempers have nothing holding them back. Normally Mercury would be able to help make sense of it, but once it pulls away from that square to Pluto, it gets a couple of more stressors added to the pile. On Friday Mercury is opposite Jupiter, and by Sunday it has moved on to the conjunction with Uranus in Aries. This could be incredibly useful if your ideas and creations need a burst of inspiration, and is certainly more comfortable than that square to Pluto — but still, apply caution. Make sure you know where that naughty e-mail or text message is really going before you send it.

All of this might have you thinking that this weekend will be a tough time to get anywhere with your love life, but that isn’t necessarily so. The weekend is dominated by Sun conjunct Venus, which is exact on Saturday. In theory, having a planet this close to the Sun makes it what astrologers call “combust.” Think of it as the Sun “burning out” the qualities of the planet in question. In practice though, one often finds that this brings the issues of the planet in question to the forefront, and “bringing Venus to the forefront” is pretty much what weekends were created for. If your love style of choice this weekend is bright and sociable, aim to set something up for Friday, when the Moon is in Aquarius. If you’re going for something softer and more emotional, Saturday and Sunday the Moon in Pisces will lend a hand with that.
