Will he notice I'm avoiding him?

Okay, this is both a meaningful chart to me but also a practice one… I want to know that I got all the basics right here.

He’s: Saturn / Jupiter / Sun

Me: Mercury / Moon

There’s NO Mercury / Saturn
But… Moon square Saturn

(Funny Moon is friendlier to Venus and Mercury… currently I’ve been overspending and shopping a lot because I have a new exercise regime that’s helping me lose inches quickly, but also working and going to school too. My sleep and everything has taken up most of my energy!)

Mercury DOES square Jupiter, but it feels more like Mercury is too serious and Jupiter just wants things to be light and breezy? I’m unclear how to interpret him in his turned 8th other than “endings”.

RECEPTION wise though, obviously I will care more that I’m avoiding him than him me because Mercury is receiving Saturn, and Moon is in 7th – right?

Mutual reception between Venus / Jupiter but Venus is squaring Saturn – his relationship and work are important to him and there are difficulties somewhere right now?

Answer: NO he won’t care!

Longest Venus return I've had(Minimum 6 days!)

-Hi, guys. So you guys probably know that on March, Venus will turn retrograde in Aries, and before that she will be stationary at 12-13 degree. My natal Venus is at 12 degree in Aries, and seems like the longest return ever(Usually it lasts one day!).So Venus will be conjunct my Venus, for two degrees and less since 22th of February until 15th of March, and exactly conjunct my Venus from 25th of February until 2nd of March.
-My love is very, very passive, but can someone tell me what will this Venus return bring me? Will smth romantic finally happen in my life? I’ll post my natal chart and the progressions. Thank you ♥

Love Horoscope for the Week of January 30

You’re an intelligent person (obviously, because you’re here reading this now). But sometimes there’s a problem with being intelligent: namely, sometimes a smart person can overestimate their brain’s ability to think its way through things, and as a result a smart person can make mistakes someone less bright would know enough to avoid. When it comes to general intelligence, in astrology we look to Mercury, and Mercury is getting pounded by a couple of transits that may make it think it’s being brilliant — but it probably isn’t.

So: do yourself a big favor this week. Start every day by sending yourself a text message that reads U R 2 DUM 2DAY. It could save you a lot of embarrassment.

One of the aspects knocking Mercury for a loop is Tuesday’s Mercury square Uranus. A Mercury-Uranus aspect often makes for brilliant ideas and intellectual breakthroughs, but the square is a little like pouring a gallon of genius into a teacup: most of it’s going to end up making a mess on the floor.

On Thursday, Mercury square Jupiter takes that wobbling and uncertain Mercury, pours a few shots of whiskey into it, and encourages it to go share its opinions with that biker at the end of the bar. Yes, what I’m saying is: your words and ideas may be big and grand right now, but as far as practical application and reasonable results? Yeah. Maybe you should just write it all down and come back to it next week when you’re thinking a little more clearly.

One more thing to keep in mind is that the Moon is Void of Course for most of the day Thursday. So, on the upside: if you have something you’ve been putting off for a long time and you genuinely hope it fails (like that idiotic pet project your boss keeps talking about), launch it on Thursday and odds are good that, at some point soon, the whole thing will crash and burn.

Fortunately, the weekend will give you both a break from work and the opportunity to focus on romance. Venus enters Aries on Friday, and that will put new wind into your romantic sails. In theory, Venus in Aries isn’t the most effective placement, but sometimes Venus needs to stop being a wallflower and get some skin in the game. Even more potentially exciting weekend love life news? Moon in Taurus for Saturday loves sensual pleasures, and late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, the Moon in Gemini makes a sextile to both Venus and Mars — the two planets in charge of your sex drive. You see? There are better things in life than just being smart, isn’t there?

Mars in Sagittarius, Moon in Pisces Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

At first glance, Moon in Pisces will be too sensitive for Mars in Sagittarius’ uncensored actions. However, both these signs are interested in limitless possibilities (albeit in very different ways). Their shared belief in something more could be a major point of compatibility.

Mars in Sagittarius wants to take things as far as he can. Whether he’s pursuing a potential partner or pushing the boundaries in an existing relationship, he must have the freedom to expand. Generally, this makes him a daringly optimistic lover who’s a joy to be around. But sometimes his lack of attention to the finer points means his actions can be insensitive. Mars in Sagittarius gets so excited about what’s coming up next, that he often tramples over his partner’s concerns.

Moon in Pisces needs something to believe in.  At her core, she wants to transcend limits and reality, which means she feels most secure when her relationship has a touch of magic. Moon in Pisces can absorb her partner’s feelings. She’s so empathetic that she needs some periods of isolation to recharge and reconfirm her needs (so she can separate them from her lover’s). She is a wonderfully supportive, but somewhat fragile, partner.

Mars in Sagittarius will be intrigued by Pisces’ sensitivity, and he’ll adore her willingness to believe in him. He’ll have no trouble sweeping her off her feet. After some time, Moon in Pisces may feel that Sagittarius is not being considerate, and Sagittarius may become impatient with Pisces’ tendency to retreat when she’s hurt. It will seem that almost anything he does or says is insensitive — his off-color jokes, impulsive actions and rambunctious approach to sex. But if Mars in Sagittarius can slightly moderate his approach, and Moon in Pisces learns how to say “No” when she’s not in the mood for his playfulness, these two can have a fairly optimistic relationship. Sag’s good humor will take the edge off his his blunter actions, and Pisces will be buoyed up by his sense of adventure.

How to Tell If Venus in Pisces Likes You Back

Credit: poplasen via iStockphoto

If you’re swimming in the same waters as someone with Venus in Pisces–much like the tides–you can’t help but get lulled into his hypnotic rhythm. It’s very telling that Pisces’ modern ruler Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus, so that those with a strong Piscean signature ultimately elevate romantic love to agape. Added to this is another divine connection between Venus and Neptune: Venus is exalted in Neptune’s sign. And so it is that Venus is at her most magnetic and alluring in Pisces’ oceanic depths.

The Piscean vibe is attuned to spiritual empowerment, imagination, and creative output. But, just as the tide washes in and then out again, Venus in Pisces has a flair for escapism. His superpower of popping in and out of the quantum field is compelling. You can never quite get enough of him. It sets up a cycle of delicious yearning for the seemingly unattainable. Yet Venus in Pisces isn’t gaming you if he pulls a Houdini. It’s not a strategy he intentionally employs to adopt an air of mystique; rather, he is simply re-filling his well through a brief and necessary retreat.

No wonder. With natural sonar that picks up on every ripple in the collective, she is the zodiac’s ultimate psychic sponge. Venus in Pisces likely coined the term all the feels. For this mermaid to survive the din and clamor of mundane reality, she must occasionally dive into her incredibly detailed imagination (or the real world, as she prefers to think of it) in order to find her own center again. This here one moment and gone the next thing is slippery to interpret. Is she ghosting you…is she siren-calling you…in short–is she into you or not? When you’re dealing with the ethereal energy of Venus in Pisces, deciphering her seductive arts is like trying to glue ocean surf to the shoreline. Still, there are some telltale signs that Venus in Pisces is hooked on you:

›› Get your customized astrological compatibility report for insight into how the planets play out in your relationships.

The Soft Approach

Suppose he silently sits next to you and just hangs out in your energy for a moment. He’s not about imposing himself on you, especially if you too are silent. It would be almost sacrilege to interrupt the private reverie of your thoughts. Once you acknowledge him, he will warm up the waters a bit. You share a funny moment, perhaps. All of this is setting the scene for the eventual moment when he softly tells you that there’s just something about you that makes him feel like he can be himself with you.

And so the dance begins. He is leading, though you may have no idea yet. If you’re savvy to his cue, you will recognize that what he’s really saying is that he feels a connection with you. If this is his first attempt to reach out, it’s easy to miss. So listen up, because he may as well be confessing that you’re on his mind all the time. Wouldn’t it be simpler if he just said so, in as many words? Sure, but Venus in Pisces needs to sense where you’re at before spilling too much.

There’s a bit of a puzzle to piece together, inasmuch as Pisces is ruled by both Jupiter and Neptune. Each one has an affinity for promoting the spiritual growth that Venus in Pisces seeks. Whereas Jupiter helps him evolve through cultural and philosophical exploration, Neptune’s tutelage involves sacred imagination and symbolism. Until these two approaches are artfully blended–one being left-brain, and the other right-brain–this guy can barely trust himself. How is he supposed to trust you until he sees what you do with his initially soft approach? If he remarks that there’s a special connection between you, hear the cue, wait for the downbeat, then join the dance–even if he’s the only one who can hear the music.

You Show Me Yours

Those born with Venus in Pisces have a refined emotional body. This is hardly surprising, given that Pisces belongs to the water element, symbolic of the realm of feelings. This mermaid senses your emotional strength or vulnerability with uncanny ease and accuracy, and then offers you the salve you may not even have known you need. If she whispers that you can tell her anything at all, and she will never judge, she means it. She really won’t judge. She is naturally compassionate, one of the hallmarks of the Piscean realm.

But don’t miss the finer point here: as she lays herself down like a bridge over your troubled waters, she’s also making a play for you. And it can be surprisingly seductive. Outside of talk therapy, how many people get free reign to just talk about themselves without fear of judgment?

And I’ll Show You Mine

The irony of Venus in Pisces offering himself as your confessor, your healer, your shoulder to cry on, is that he is often ill-equipped to provide for himself in some very basic way. Perhaps he experiences a lack of income because he’s a musician–a typical (and underpaid) avenue for Venus in Pisces. Or maybe he’s got this girlfriend that he wants to leave but he can’t just yet because her cat just died and it would be so cruel to leave her now… you get the idea. As much as he wants to take you under his angel wings, he is often in a state of turmoil himself.

And so out comes a piece of poetry that he just wrote. Or a snippet of a song he’s trying to get just right. It is his melancholy story. It also happens to be Venus in Pisces’ code for take me home with you. And, of course, you will. Because this guy can express himself in ways that would make even Elizabeth Barrett Browning say, “Damn, wish I’d thought of that.” When Venus in Pisces pulls you into his undertow, it’s kind of hot. You wonder if anyone in the world has ever needed you so much. Likely no one has. If you need him as much as he needs you, take this guy home already.

Parazodiacs in astrology

The common view of the zodiac is there are 12 signs for each month of the astrological year (starts and ends around the 21st of each calendar month), and somehow I believe there are just 12 signs, not 13 (Ophiuchus considered one in sidereal astrology). Did you know 6 parazodiacs such as Ophiuchus can alter your charts and horoscopes? They are Cetus (Mar. 5-Apr. 5), Orion (May 5-June 5), Sextans (Jul. 6-Aug. 6), Corvus or Hydra’s “tail” (Sep. 6-Oct. 6), Ophiuchus (Nov. 6-Dec. 6) and Aquila (Jan. 5- Feb. 5), half of each one of the 12 signs are influenced by adjacent constellations by the ecliptic. It may explain my relationships with certain Geminis and Libras (I’m an Aquarius, an air sign) can differ when a parazodiac is present by the natal birth date sun’s position.

Love Horoscope for the Week of January 23

Sometimes in life, all it takes to make things better is to come to an understanding about them. Not everything in your life may be all great all the time, but the ability to fit it all into a larger pattern can get you through it. Or, as a popular series of children’s books might put it: A Series of Unfortunate Events is more bearable if it’s part of a larger narrative somehow.

Regardless of where you and your love life are this week, there are a couple of opportunities for you to change your storyline, or at least to understand the characters’ motivations a little better.

All of this happens against the backdrop of the ongoing Jupiter-Uranus opposition. There are times when a little revolution is a good thing, and that might apply to where you are with your life and your relationships (or lack thereof). Uranus is all about the revolution, and the Jupiter opposition is like a crowd cheering the rebels on. Just keep in mind that even a “good” revolution involves things blowing up and burning down. Just be careful where you throw that Molotov cocktail.

Mercury sextile Neptune on Monday makes the first part of the week ideal for reaching some kind of an emotional understanding. Mercury, as always, is in charge of the thinking and planning and how to phrase that break-up letter, naughty text message, impassioned plea for attention, or whatever it is your love life needs. Neptune adds a delicate layer of frosting that can help your message be better received.

On Friday, Venus square Saturn becomes exact (but influences the entire week). When Saturn is square any planet, kind-hearted astrologers scramble to express the potential positive outcome. Venus square Saturn is, admittedly, a fairly terrible time for starting or maintaining your relationships. I admit I’ve come up short with this one though… go look at some amusing cat pictures after you read this forecast, and we’ll just pretend this whole aspect didn’t happen, okay?

Also on Friday: Mars enter Aries. Regardless of what the calendar may say, now is the time you’re likely to feel some Spring Fever kicking in. This is a much more straightforward and impulsive placement than Mars in Pisces was, and frankly it’s generally a much better placement for dating and mating.

Finally: Saturday is the start of a new cycle in Chinese Astrology. I know nothing about Chinese Astrology beyond what I’ve learned by reading restaurant placemats, but you’ve got to admit that with Saturn in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries for the next several months, “The Year Of The Fire Rooster” might be a fitting name for 2017 in general. Just try to be careful about what (and who) you burn down with that energy, okay?

Opening a business and my natal transits

I’m thinking of opening my own business, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight on my astrological transits, and how they may impact my success.

Currently, I have saturn transiting my 8th house.
Its about to oppose my natal venus at the end of 2017, and it will oppose my natal chiron in 2018, as well as conjunct my natal 8 house Uranus.

On down the road in 2019, saturn will conjunct my natal 9th house Neptune and then ill have my Saturn Return.

I’ve read some negative things about the above transits that concern me.
Further, in 2019, after my Saturn, return, saturn will oppose my natal moon and mars at the same time Pluto will oppose my natal Mars.

Currentlyy, Pluto is opposing my natal moon, and its causing me an extreme amount of turmoil and distress in my current job, and with several of my friendships that has me itching to make a major change, as I’m suddenly unhappy.
I do not want to make any impulsive decisions though, that will not work out.

The business I’m thinking of opening wouldn’t be my sole effort either, my father would be my partner in it, so maybe this will help?

Other transits I have coming up, are Uranus in my 12th house square my natal mars and then in early 2018, Uranus square my MC and semi square my 1st house Sun.

This year abd next year I also have Neptune in my 11th house square my Sun

The other one is a positive, I have Jupiter transiting my 6th house this year Trine my sun,and jupiter.

Any advice on this?

Mars in Sagittarius, Moon in Aquarius Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

This couple will place each other’s freedom at the top of their respective lists. Mars in Sagittarius’ urge to explore will blend beautifully with Moon in Aquarius’ need to do things her way. The result will be a truly liberated union.

Mars in Sagittarius demands personal space. He’s so easygoing that his partner may not take him seriously. But it would be a mistake to assume Mars in Sag is a pushover. He’ll bring his sense of adventure and playfulness to the relationship, and (if he’s really into his lover) will put up with a lot. But if she tries to control him, belittle him or deny his free spirit, he’ll walk. He has a powerful sense of right and wrong, and that includes what’s right for him.

Moon in Aquarius needs a relationship where individuality is valued. In her ideal scenario, two do not become one. Rather, two people remain unique individuals who accept each other for who they are. Moon in Aquarius is surprisingly stable for such a “rebellious” sign. She will be unwaveringly loyal to a partner who accepts her slightly detached emotional expressions, and who doesn’t try to force suffocating closeness on her.

Mars in Sagittarius will recognize a kindred spirit in Moon in Aquarius. He’ll be intrigued by her cool but open responses to his jokes and charm. Moon in Aquarius will enjoy Sag’s efforts to get her attention, and she’ll feel comfortable with his restless energy. She’ll keep him centered in the partnership, without tying him down or demanding that he grow up. Mars in Sagittarius will continually inject the relationship with new experiences, and Aquarius will happily join him in exploring. Together, they’ll create a vibrant union where love is expressed with a loose grip.

Enemies – where to look

The 7th house is the house of enemies as well as marriage and partnerships. Where else in a chart would you look for animosity with others?

I have Sag on my 7th house cusp, conjunct Saturn in the 6th, and Uranus in the 7th house. I make what I might call institutional enemies. I offend academic or academia related organizations and they, in turn, seek to destroy me. At least, it is becoming a theme.

I am hoping that by looking into enemy dynamics of natal, or other, charts might help naviagate my latest run-in. I have conflicting results at my work on testing done by this global, phD-filled private institution of patented superiority, so now I am in their cross-hairs. I am afraid it is going to blow up into a legal dispute. 🙁

Four Reasons Why You Would Fall Hard for a Taurus

Credit: vgajic via iStockphoto

Like all earth signs, Taurus is incredibly sensuous, loyal, and has an unwavering drive towards abundance. This is the first of the earth signs, mind you; as such there is a vibe of slow and steady progress, versus nimbly rushing towards the goal post. In a similar fashion, the route to love with Taurus unfolds like her steady and unwavering approach to life. If you fall hard for her, those feelings will likely develop out of a slow and gradual buildup of energy until you realize–as if out of nowhere–that you’ve got it bad for Taurus. Once the infatuation sneaks up on you, it’s pretty tough to shake. But why would you want to shake this goddess off, in the first place? Here are a few reasons you might fall hard for Taurus:

1. That Voice

Sound is such a pervasive trigger that it’s easy to overlook how activated we are by it. Strange, given that we are created by sound. Science is revealing more and more how physical patterns–sacred geometries–are created from the vibration of sound. The Australian aborigines believe that the Universe was sung into existence. There’s also an iconic biblical passage that reads: In the beginning was the word. In a nutshell, nothing happens without the emanation of sound. Yet when noise is such a ubiquitous part of urban and modern living, it’s easy to take it for granted.

Until, that is, you hear a sound that you either love or loathe. We tune out the stuff our ears deplore, and conversely relax into and welcome more of the sounds we adore. Why does that matter? In order to fully receive a vital message, we need to be receptive to taking it in. There’s something here about honey versus vinegar.

Taurus’ voice is the honey that opens your heart and ears to the content of the message. Its richness and resonance is unmatched. Even his laughter evokes a feeling of instant desire for connection. Consider the body part that Taurus rules: the throat. It’s no coincidence that this is one of his greatest assets. Tell me you don’t go weak in the knees when you hear this man. It’s not going to be the sole reason you fall for him, but something in Taurus’ voice–whether singing or speaking–will awaken within you a hunger for more than the sounds coming out of his mouth.

›› Get your customized astrological compatibility report for insight into how the planets play out in your relationships.

2. That Charm

In private, Taurus may let her hair down and reveal a surprisingly bawdy sense of humor. As an earth creature she is fully in tune with her body and the pleasures of physical incarnation. But in public or any situation requiring finesse, Ms. Taurus is all Miss Manners. She writes the thank you cards, brings a hostess gift, and compliments your appearance. She is one of the most gracious gals you will ever encounter; she is ruled by Venus, after all.

Taurus’ charms will surface almost immediately, yet she’s anything but solely surface. Taurus possesses earth energy, so she has deep roots that she nurtures in order to maintain her cherished connection to family, friends, and professional ties. This is a fixed sign, requiring stability and steady growth towards maximum potential. You will not find a more loyal friend or steadfast lover than Taurus.

3. That Abundance

While it ought to be said that one should never marry for money alone, it could also be countered that it’s just as easy to love a rich man as a poor one. It’s wired into a Taurus to be an amasser of wealth. He resonates naturally with the 2nd House of income, values, and assets–whether they are financial or spiritual. Isn’t it interesting that Taurus’ totem is the Bull, symbol of fertility? The term Bull Market is applied to confidence in rising prices on the stock market. Look also to ruling planet, Venus, an ambassador of personal financial worth.

He’s an exemplary steward of his resources. In an evolutionary sense, Taurus deepens his spiritual awareness through his realization of I Have. Operating through the element of earth, his mastery of the world of form and manifestation is borne of a faith that there is an abundance of Earth’s goodness for all. Mind you, he comes with a bit of a rep, this one, for being somewhat possessive. Yes, he may lean towards collecting for its own sake. It’s just that objects, people, money–these are verifiable proof to Taurus of his ability to make manifest whatever he desires.

There’s a bit of magic for you to learn from and to cultivate yourself, if you’re in deep with Taurus. He’s got a yin, or receptive, energy field. Through Venus’ law of attraction influence he appears to draw towards him what he so dearly wishes for. It may look like magic, but you likely won’t see all of the sweat that goes into the attainment of his goal. That’s because he graciously describes it as ‘fun’ or a ‘blessing’ rather than sheer force of effort and will.

4. Taurus/Venus in Your Chart

Taurus is into down-to-earth, pleasure-full living. Disembodied theorists need not apply for this one’s heart. If you’re into Taurus, here are some markers in the natal chart that can help establish some common and fertile ground between you:

  • Taurus on the 7th House Cusp, Venus in the 7th House, 7th House Ruler in hard aspect to Venus: With Taurus on your 7th House cusp of committed relationship, you have a Scorpio Ascendant. The Taurus-Scorpio axis is sexually expressive, and makes for a sensuous and steamy combination. A Taurus lover can help you contain the watery magic you possess, and to channel it into something wonderful. If Venus is in your 7th House, you are magnetized towards partners who embody the Venusian virtues of diplomacy, good luck, and a flair for romance. Perhaps the ruler of your 7th House forms an edgy vibe with Venus; in that case, you require a certain amount of friction–it could even be a sense of divine discontent–in order to keep things interesting. This inner drive can help prevent you from getting into a spiritual rut.
  • Venus or Mars in the 2nd House, or Mars in hard aspect to Venus: If you’re born with Venus in her natural 2nd House, you are a bona fide money magnet. If Mars is there, you’ve got plenty of drive to increase your earnings. Either way, you’re singing Taurus’ song. If these planetary lovers are at odds with each other in your natal chart, you thrive somewhat on sparring. Consider it a contest of wills, or a discrepancy in the division of labor and/or resources. As Taurus is known for her tenacity–digging her heels in ever so well–you’re right at home, should you fall for her.

Love Horoscope for the Week of January 16

“Making up” and “breaking up” are vital components of many songs, and not just because they rhyme (although that certainly helps). You may find yourself in a situation where your love life needs some repair, or where the whole project (or a large portion of it) needs to be scrapped. In either case, this week’s transits have something that can help you out.

This week’s biggest transits don’t hit the exact degree until Thursday and Friday, but are felt throughout the week. The heart- and mind-fuzzying effects of last week’s Venus-Neptune conjunction are wearing off, and gives way to a pair of planetary combinations that can either help you strengthen any recently-made gains in your love life, or strip away the debris (depending on your requirements).

On Thursday, Mars square Saturn is exact. This aspect always brings the potential for strife and suffering, but handled properly it can strip the grime from your emotional life. However, this may be particularly tricky as Mars in Pisces is a little better at picking enemy targets based on gut instincts and your mood of the day rather than actual evidence, and Saturn in Sagittarius is all too happy to play along, bringing a certain “you’re not the boss of me” vibe with it. Yes, odds are good that something or other needs to be tossed out of your personal relationships, but try to use a little common sense before pulling the trigger.

You might want to avoid pulling that trigger exactly on Thursday, and don’t expect to get a heck of a lot done at work: the Moon is Void of Course in Libra for most of the day. Those conditions are better suited to hanging out and chatting at the water cooler than for achieving any major goals, whether work-wise or romantically. Yes, Libra is all about relationships — but even Libra can have an off day.

Friday brings the exact Venus-Pluto sextile. The gentle and loving nature of Venus gets a little reinforcement, and even the sweetest of nothings can take on new importance. If you need to make an impassioned plea for attention or mercy from either another person or an entire situation, this aspect makes the tail end of the week an ideal time to make your case.

All of this should make for an eventful weekend from an emotional perspective, but be careful with your timing when planning any large declarations of either love or rejection: the Moon in Scorpio for Friday and Saturday is passionate enough, but is Void of Course throughout Saturday evening. All the usual warnings about the Void Moon are in place, but Moon in Scorpio can have a hard time hiding its feelings. Worst case scenario: Mercury sextile Neptune is in effect (although it isn’t exact until after the weekend). That should help you find the right words, sweetness, and empathy to convey how sorry you are the whole mess happened in the first place.

is it serious/ breast cancer?

Question is: Is it serious/breast cancer? Story is i am making an appointment with my doctor as soon as possible but i couldn’t help it… i made a horary. I have no idea how to interpret Health Horaries but of course i’ll give it a try… Asc at 0 of Pisces… well i just realized i need to look at this… this morning actually.. and i got no clue about the situation…so we just get started.. First house is way too busy with planets,,, i do not like South node on my ASC neither my significator Jupiter on the 8th ..though that could show my frustration and being in via combusta make this a hot issue for me?.. well of course it is… Moon is on the 6th the health house and is making an applying sextile with my significator… so that is good right? Though reception doesn’t exist only by face from the Moon… Venus ruler of the 8th is on my 1st… not sure what to think about all these… truth is.. i try to be optimistic and i am sure nothing is wrong… oh… and just to spice it up… i tried to use part of cancer which tragically is on 18 degrees of Cancer ruled by Moon… I am looking forward for your answers… thank you in advance!

Mars in Sagittarius, Moon in Capricorn Compatibility

Flickr photo by badjonni via Creative Commons license

Moon in Capricorn is the boss in this relationship, even though Mars in Sag will be the louder, more excitable partner. His playfulness will irritate serious Moon in Cap at times, but she may be just what he needs to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Mars in Sagittarius wants to have a good time. Even when he’s serious about fighting for something (a cause, an injustice, getting his prospective lover’s attention) he always infuses his actions with the joy of new possibilities. In general, Mars in Sag tries not to take life too seriously, which makes him an excellent antidote to an uptight partner. But this attitude (and desire for unlimited freedom) can rub certain people the wrong way. If his partner feels there’s a specific time and place for levity, she may be dismayed that most of his energy seems to be directed at keeping it light.

Moon in Capricorn needs to look at the serious side. She’s not trying to be a downer (most of the time) but she does have an instinctive understanding of life’s limits. Moon in Capricorn will be the partner who keeps it all together–the relationship’s manager. She feels most secure when she’s in control, and in some circumstances this can manifest as repressed feelings. While she’s a pro at commitment, she needs a partner who makes her feel safe enough to open up.

Mars in Sagittarius’ sexy jokester will not impress Capricorn. His charming approach (which works on almost anyone) will fall flat with her, but he’ll probably view this as a challenge and redouble his efforts. If there’s no eventual progress, he will give up. But if other aspects between their charts are compelling enough, his optimistic actions will win her over. Moon in Capricorn will reluctantly be introduced to new horizons when Mars in Sagittarius makes her laugh. As a couple, she will ground him and keep him focused, while he will remind her that there’s life beyond the rules. But she’ll still be the boss.

How To Tell If Venus in Aquarius Likes You Back

Credit: level17 via iStockphoto

If you’ve got a thing for Venus in Aquarius, you might want to get in line. This is one of the most fascinating people you will ever encounter. She’s a real mix of all things classic and modern. She is also simultaneously group-oriented and isolationist. This only adds to her mystique. No wonder it’s easy to misread her signals.

He’s not trying to be mysterious with you, understand. It’s just that Venus in Aquarius reports to two planetary rulers–both Saturn and Uranus–and these two giants have very different vibes. While Saturn upholds tradition, Uranus breaks the mold and finds a twist on that tradition. Picture a gray suit with a flash of purple socks peeking out. Venus in Aquarius has a foot in two camps.

Adding to this complexity is the fact that Venus in Aquarius behaves pretty much the same way with everybody. She’s a humanitarian, after all. In true Uranian fashion, she believes that everyone under the Sun has their own magic to contribute to the world, so she greets everyone–from the person behind the convenience store counter to the VP of a major bank–in the same relaxed manner, and treats everyone with the same respect.

If Venus in Aquarius has favorite people, he’s considerate enough to avoid making it obvious to those outside of his inner circle. How then, are you supposed to know if he’s into you? Here are some telltale signs that this democratic dude is partial to what you’ve got:

›› Get your customized astrological compatibility report for insight into how the planets play out in your relationships.

Feeling Friendly

It starts with friendship. Nobody gets past go until Venus in Aquarius is sure there’s enough common ground between you to enjoy hanging out. Do not underestimate the emphasis that she places on friendship.

First of all, the whole Aquarian vibe resonates naturally with the 11th House of friendship and group energy. Secondly, what’s the big rush? That same 11th House also furnishes our hopes and wishes. Venus in Aquarius has a visionary outlook that sees the bigger picture–that’s Uranus’ influence. Moreover, she trusts that the bigger picture will develop in its own sweet and proper time–which is Saturn’s domain. She’s got your whole twosome future in her mind’s eye. Provided you give her a hint that you’re into her, she sees your eventual transition into lovers as a fait accompli.

But she’ll keep that tucked away and simply move one step at a time, patiently allowing for good things to ripen. Venus in Aquarius relishes the journey of your developing relationship in all of its stages. Think of architect Saturn helping her build some relationship scaffolding. She’s not afraid to climb out on a ledge, but that ledge needs to be stable enough to support some of the wild Uranian things she’s game to try with you eventually.

If she’s into you, her preliminary fantasies are about getting to know you better in a platonic way. Super dry? Not if you understand what’s motivating her: she adores that hint of Uranian taboo that Saturn’s obstacles present–such as, we’re just meant to be colleagues (or friends or classmates or strangers or…) but I’m hot and bothered for you, and this isn’t the time or place to let on. It may or may not be ‘appropriate.’ One of you may or may not be spoken for. Oops. So she imagines everyday mundane scenarios whereby the two of you connect.

These daydreams are her safe way to practice how she’s finally going to ask you to meet up with her, without embarrassing herself (remember dignified Saturn) or flipping you out. She’s learned the hard way that something about her is ‘different,’ and that not everyone can handle her. So, a la Saturn, she starts off with a cautious approach:

Hey, do you wanna grab a coffee and try and figure out how we’re going to tackle this latest assignment? If that’s all she gives you at first, that’s already a lot. Before she sticks her neck out any further, she wants a neutral environment to assess whether the chemistry she feels is in her mind or if it’s mutual.

If she’s into you, Venus in Aquarius hopes for your friendship to blossom into romance. For her, anticipation is part of the thrill of romance. As far as she’s concerned, if you’re as into her as she is into you, your love story will have begun long before either of you approached the other.

Quirks and Quarks

Venus in Aquarius is not above disguising amorous feelings under a brilliant and iconic sense of humor. This is the influence of Uranus. He will deliver a genius comeback without missing a beat, whenever the opportunity presents itself. So you could be excused for dismissing his quirky quips as no more than a great sense of comedic timing. Don’t. He’s using this as another safe way to signal that he’s vying for your attention.

Picture this: you’re walking together towards that café where you’re meeting to discuss “work” (at least, that’s his story). It is raining en route. He removes a leaf from a tree and holds it above your head as an umbrella. He’s flirting with you. Yes, really. This is Venus in Aquarius at his freest and finest. If you can avoid a comeback like, “Weirdo,” it will help move things along quite nicely–all the more so if you offer to hold the umbrella.
