Pay attention to your drives this week. Mars in Aries is trine Jupiter in Leo, which is exact on Tuesday. That sounds great, doesn’t it? Well – it is, probably. Odds are good that there will be a lot of boundless enthusiasm and “get up and go” in the air. That is, of course, unless that other thing Mars is doing this week makes you totally lose your mind, so that you get bogged down in moping or frustration and do nothing with the energy. Mars conjunct Uranus and square Pluto on Wednesday could very well make things messy and unclear for you. Mars square Pluto can give everything you do tremendous verve, but often at the expense of common sense or good planning. Mars conjunct Uranus provides a great outburst of energy, but it’s the sort of energy that needs to be directed.
This is a peculiar combination of forces that needs to be managed very carefully. That helpful aspect from Jupiter could help you blast through the obstacles in your personal life with a touch of good luck… or it could just help you lose your mind over things more powerfully. You’ll need to use your head, and that’s when Mercury comes in.
Oh: Mercury may not be a lot of help either, by the way.
Mercury enters Pisces on Thursday. Everyone loves Pisces of course: all sweet and lovable and stuff. But Mercury in Pisces is not exactly known for its attention to detail. Mercury in Pisces is much better at writing a love letter than it is at checking the grammar or the spelling. And when it’s within conjunction range of Neptune, like it will be this week? You might have great ideas, but the details are bound to be fuzzy.
Now: when you combine that with the potential reckless optimism of Mars this week, is this a good thing or a bad thing? That’s going to be up to you. The one thing that’s for sure about all this is that if you do not make a conscious effort to use this energy properly, it’s going to be there anyway… and someone or something else will use it instead of you. Perhaps they’ll use it against you.
Finally, Saturn turns retrograde on Saturday. This in and of itself is not necessarily an inherently bad or difficult thing. Saturn retrograde means your plans may have a little more trouble than usual taking root, but it’s no guarantee of disaster. What this does mean is that this June, Saturn will be back for a final stab at Scorpio. Feel free to extend your sympathies to your neighborhood Scorpio now and avoid the rush.
