Love Horoscope for the Week of March 2

There is a lot of good to be gained from this week’s aspects if you’re careful about your timing. Venus and Mars are still in Aries and still frisky, and Jupiter (which rules committed relationships) becomes a major player. If there’s anything about your love life that needs a little work, this could be the week to get it done.

The most noteworthy planetary aspect is Jupiter trine Uranus, which (although exact on Tuesday) is in effect throughout the week. This combination makes for an unusually rare confluence of good fortune and good ideas. If you’ve got any major obstacles to overcome in your life, want to start something new and brilliant, or could just stand to have Fate smile on your ventures a little more brightly, this could be a red-letter week for you.

Monday should prove unusually energetic and constructive for many of us. The Moon makes helpful and supportive aspects to Saturn, Mars, Venus, and Uranus that day. Yeah I know: no one really likes Mondays, but at least this time around you should be able to get some stuff done. Take advantage of that momentum as best you can by either getting things wrapped up or starting new projects on Monday, because on Tuesday the Moon is Void of Course for most of the day, and you’ll probably feel like all that energy went to waste otherwise.

Any Full Moon carries with it the potential for drama and emotional flareups, but this Thursday’s Full Moon in Virgo is especially loaded. First of all, the Full Moon at 14-15° Virgo is going to be conjunct the Uranus and/or Pluto of anyone born in the 1960s. Secondly, both the Sun and Moon are aspecting Pluto. Finally, for those of you who love a little psychoanalytic tension, the Sun is conjunct Chiron. Since the Moon goes Void of Course early in the day (a couple of hours after the exact Full Moon) you might want to wait until later in the day Friday to deal with any potentially ugly confrontations. Friday evening’s Moon in Libra is much, much better suited to delicate hostage negotiations and/or relationship issues (and who can tell the difference sometimes?) than a Full Moon in Virgo ever was.

As far as your weekend romantic prospects go, Moon in Libra is pretty useful when it comes to meeting, greeting, and dating. Saturday evening in particular should prove pretty exciting, with the Moon opposite Uranus and square Pluto. With both Venus and Mars still passing through the hot and heavy territory of Aries, you might want to be careful to hang onto your heart, your wallet, and your designated driver’s phone number.
