This week’s forecast may not be much to write home about, but you’ve got to admit conditions are a lot less lousy than they were the last couple of weeks. Mars is still in Cancer, and still a bit problematic, but it isn’t nipping at the heels of Uranus and Pluto like it was not long ago. So, first order of business for this week? Breathe deep, relax, and be grateful.
Most of this week’s serious astrological action is focused on the end of the week. Opportunities and obstacles are at loggerheads with each other as the Jupiter-Saturn square approaches the exact degree, and that can make for a fair amount of dissatisfaction with your personal life. But as far as the odds of shaking something loose and making something good of it? You may have to wait until the weekend.
Since this is a love forecast, it behooves us to have a look at Venus, particularly given that it is retrograde and enters Leo on Friday, and will spend the next two whole months in that Sign. First of all, retrograde or not, that’s an epic length of time for Venus to spend anywhere. If your love life is bogged down for a month or two, it may not simply be the retrograde… it could be the Sign placement. Whether Venus is retrograde or not at any given time, pay attention to which House of your birth chart it is in. That’s where you are most likely to receive the benefits of Venus. Try to focus on maximizing the benefits there.
Just to pump up the excitement a little, Friday also brings a Full Moon in Aquarius. Full Moons are rarely a disaster in and of themselves, but they can lend a little spice – or a little edge – to your emotional proceedings. And since weekend socializing often involves drinking, be especially aware of emotional flare-ups and their unintended consequences.
On Saturday, Saturn stops going retrograde and goes direct, making its last run through the final degrees of Scorpio. As always, whenever something like this happens, it will be a great relief to some people and worrisome to others. For now, just keep in mind that it means the Jupiter-Saturn square is growing closer to the exact agree.
Finally, on Sunday the Moon is in Pisces and conjunct Neptune, then sextile Pluto, and Mercury is in a helpful trine to Uranus. No matter what your week has been like up to this point, if making things better with someone else requires a creative outburst of highly emotional communication, Sunday is your day to make it happen.
