Looking for an excuse to avoid going to work Monday? Call your local astrologer and have him or her write you a permission slip. Not only is the Moon Void of Course in Capricorn for a large portion of the day, Mercury square Mars is exact on Monday. That (plus the fact that Mercury is still retrograde) makes for excellent conditions when it comes to things like sending an inappropriately hostile e-mail to your boss or having an angry co-worker verbally attack you. Sun square Mars, which is exact on Tuesday, isn’t exactly going to help any either. Sit down, keep it to yourself, and watch the other guys blow up at each other instead. That approach is both safer and more entertaining.
Meanwhile, Jupiter spends its first full week in Libra since 2005. It’s not making any major aspects to any other planets though, but that’s okay… that year in Virgo was pretty exhausting for old Jove, and he could use the rest.
Much of Wednesday is eaten by another sizable Void of Course Moon, this time in Aquarius, which will make real productivity unlikely. The outlook for your love life improves a little Wednesday evening and Thursday as the Moon enters Pisces. Over the next two days, the Moon makes helpful aspects to several planets… so let’s not worry too much about that square to Saturn in the middle of the day Thursday.
If you like astrology and you like worrying unnecessarily about things, you will love the Lunar Eclipse on Friday. Yes, an Eclipse can bring sudden and unusual circumstances, but don’t forget that not all unusual circumstances are bad. For the most part, just treat this Eclipse as another Full Moon. Having said that, though: I’ve come to the conclusion over the years that the Full Moons in either Virgo or Pisces are the two craziest Full Moons of the year. This Pisces Full Moon/Eclipse is square Mars, so be cautious when you are out partying on Friday evening.
Weekend dating is likely to be a little more dramatic than usual, given that Mars trine Uranus is exact on Saturday and Venus opposite Uranus is exact on Sunday, with both aspects having an effect throughout the entire weekend. Powerful sexual urges and unusual attractions sound like fun, don’t they? If you were looking to set up some fun with a special someone, aim for mid-day Sunday when the Moon makes the conjunction to Uranus, amplifying the entire situation even more.
Finally, Venus sextile Mars isn’t exact until next Monday, but it’s still in effect for this weekend. When it comes to aspects that can lead to dating success, this one is about as good as it gets. Sextiles are subtle though, and usually a Venus-Mars sextile would need a nudge to get it started. But with all the other aspects hitting Venus and Mars this weekend, you should definitely use protection. I mean, protect your feelings. Yeah, that’s it…
