The Pisces man or woman is a pure romantic, so it’s easy to see why you would be swept away. This Neptune-ruled sign puts a spell on you without even trying. If you’ve ever loved a Pisces, you already know what I’m talking about. If you’ve never fallen for a Pisces, check out the reasons why you might lose yourself in this magical sign.
1. Rose-Colored Glasses
Want to be a superhero? Date a Pisces. He views the world through Neptune’s expansive and slightly blurry lenses. Anything is possible, because the hard edges and restrictions of life are softened. When these lenses are turned on you, know that Pisces is seeing you at your absolute best. He sees your potential — potential you didn’t know you had. He’s not feeding you a line when he says you’re amazing; he really believes it. In that moment, you are the sexiest/most-talented person he’s ever encountered. Savor that, because it’s a rare thing to have someone not only recognize your potential, but build it up to the point that it exceeds your wildest dreams. This also means the little things you feel insecure about don’t matter to him, because he simply doesn’t see them.

We all make mistakes. Most of us deserve second chances. Pisces will give you one thousand second chances. She literally feels what you feel, due to her porous boundaries. When you hurt, she hurts. When you do something you shouldn’t have, and are sorry, she gets it. She really does. Which is why a heartfelt apology is usually all it takes to get back into her good graces. Sometimes she’ll just give you the benefit of the doubt, free of charge. She truly believes you’re a good person. It can be both liberating and relaxing to be with someone who doesn’t judge or hold grudges. Also, being with her can be incredibly soothing. You’re not imagining that you feel a bit better about your mistakes, both past and present. Pisces’ forgiveness is healing, as she encourages you to let go of the guilt and self-flagellation. She’s already let go, so why don’t you?
3. Real Magic
Pisces has one foot in another world, where art, romance, escapism and spirituality hold sway. No other sign knows how to infuse your daily existence with magic like he does. He’ll write something (a song, poetry) just for you. He’ll spend an entire evening with you and the wine and warm summer air, just talking about your dreams and his dreams. When you make love (in the moment, it’s never just sex) he’ll swear that he can feel your souls touching. Maybe you’re scoffing, because this is so clichéd. But one of his talents is taking the most overdone romantic themes and making them fresh again. He really loves this stuff, and he’s not just trying to seduce you. Ok, he is trying to seduce you, and he’s really good at it. But at the same time, he puts his heart and soul into that poetry. He really believes that you and he were past-life lovers. This belief infuses the moment with reality (ironic for a fantasy-driven sign). That’s what real magic is all about.
4. Pisces/Neptune in Your Chart
No matter how seductive Pisces is, there has to be some indication in your chart that you’re open to that magic. Your Sun, Moon Venus or Mars may be in practical Earth signs. No-nonsense Saturn could be dominating your chart. But if you have the following natal characteristics, you’re more likely to fall hard for a Pisces:
- Pisces on the 7th House cusp, Neptune conjunct the 7th House cusp, 7th House ruler in hard aspect to Neptune: your ideal relationship, and the projected qualities you admire, involve a hefty dose of escapism. You’re drawn to the transcendent partner, or the partner who helps you transcend the real world.
- Venus or Mars in the 12th House, or in hard aspect to Neptune: you want love (Venus) and sex (Mars) to be exquisitely beautiful, with no boundaries. And maybe a hint of sacrifice. You’re ready to offer yourself, heart and soul.
