Love Horoscope for the Week of June 1

Do you like Love? Do you like Insanity? Or do you just like running around like a maniac in pursuit of one or the other or something else? If so, I have good news for you this week… you’ll have plenty of opportunities for all of the above.

The biggest aspect of the week is Mars in Gemini sextile Jupiter in Leo. Although the aspect isn’t exact until Friday – just in time for the weekend! – you will be feeling it throughout the week. Mars is, of course, where you get your drives and passions and ambitions from. Jupiter is the cosmic boom-box that turns up the volume to 11 on any planet it aspects. Put the two of them together – especially when they are in scattered Gemini and big loud Leo – and you have a recipe for a great party. Or a fantastic rampage. Or possibly a big meltdown. Choose whichever usage you find for this aspect wisely.

If you’re a big fan of mayhem, make sure you mark Tuesday on your calendar. That’s when the Full Moon in Sagittarius happens. Full Moons have a reputation for making people unhinged, and Sagittarius is not usually known for its restraint. On top of all that, both the Sun and Moon will be square Neptune in Pisces. Traditionally the Full Moon is a time when people worry about werewolves showing up. This time around, you might want to be careful that you (or your boss, or a loved one) don’t become a werewolf. After that, the Moon is Void of Course for most of the workday on Wednesday, so whatever your energy level is at, don’t expect too much constructiveness to come from it.

Used wisely, all of that Mars-Jupiter energy could make for a fun-filled and exciting weekend dating scene. And just to add to the glamorous potential for romance, here comes Venus in Leo, which enters that Sign on Friday. Venus in Cancer was all sweet and caring and just what your mom said you should marry, sure. But that sort of thing only goes so far, and if you like having a little more fun than that with your love life, Venus in Leo will likely lend a helping hand. Don’t bother chasing after anything new on Friday though, because the Moon is Void of Course all day. Saturday is go time, with an added bonus that the Moon will be in Libra that day. The Moon is also Void of Course most of the day on Sunday, so again don’t pursue anything new. However if you play your cards right on Saturday, you may be lucky enough to still have company…
