Here’s how:
1) Jupiter orbits the Sun in just under 12 years and stays on average just under a year in each sign – so in that sense, there is a almost a synchronicity btw the zodiac of Jupiter and the Chinese animal zodiac.
2) Each western sign is traditionally associated to its Chinese counterpart*:
– Rat: Sagittarius
– Ox: Capricorn
– Tiger: Aquarius
– Rabbit: Pisces
– Dragon: Aries
– Snake: Taurus
– Horse: Gemini
– Goat: Cancer
– Monkey: Leo
– Rooster: Virgo
– Dog: Libra
– Pig: Scorpio
From 1970 onwards, the Jupiter sign of a person will very often be the first sign after the equivalent of their Chinese year of birth.
e.g.: for someone born on May 1, 1973 (year of Ox), their Jupiter sign is: Aquarius.
Although not 100% accurate, this is still a good way in apprehending one’s Jupiter sign, simply according to one’s DOB.
* according to the sequence of qualities and elements
