The Sun spends the first part of the week coming off the conjunction with Saturn. No matter what else is going on, that will tend to make energy levels a little low and moods a little grim. You’re most likely to feel this at work on Monday, when no one is happy to be back at their desk anyway, and everyone would rather be out for another day. Somehow, the previous long weekend from American Thanksgiving will probably just make the Monday Blahs even worse. At least on Monday, Moon in Leo sextile Mars is likely to make one of your co-workers lose it in a flamboyant and entertaining manner… just make sure you aren’t that guy.

Romantically, the weekend holds some surprises. First of all on Friday, Venus enters Scorpio. Sure, there are astrologers out there who will tell you that this is a “debilitated” placement for Venus, and admittedly she isn’t at her diplomatic best at times in that Sign. On the other hand, those who dismiss Venus in Scorpio are usually those who don’t think a “nice girl” ever throws back a few drinks at the bar and never buys her undies from anywhere other than the discount bin at Mega-Lo-Mart. You might not want to negotiate a peace treaty under the influence of a Scorpio Venus, but you could well negotiate A Really Good Time. Enjoy the quietly understated sexiness of this placement now before Venus enters Sagittarius and is too busy spilling her drink while riding a mechanical bull to make eye contact.

Meeting and greeting and romancing is generally favored under a Libra Moon, and this Saturday provides an interesting twist on that principle. Not only is Venus in Scorpio, but on Saturday evening the Moon will be conjunct Mars and sextile Saturn. The normally polite and understanding nature of a Libra Moon combines with a strong sexual urge, and a certain “let’s get it on” boldness that could turn an ordinary Date Night into something wild, impulsive and sexy. This culminates with the exact Mars-Pluto square on Sunday, so this weekend it may be particularly difficult for you to “calm down and keep your pants on”… possibly, literally.
