10 Things You Didn’t Know About Taurus

1. They know good food.

 
And by good food, they mean real food. None of that fat free, fake/substitute nonsense here. The more flavorful, the better. Extra points if it’s local and organic, or from the farmer’s market. Extra extra points if they harvested it themselves. While plenty of Taureans are vegetarian or vegan, if they eat meat it has to be the best quality available.

2. Getting into nature restores and balances them.

 
Taurus is an earth sign, and perhaps the sign most likely to love getting their hands dirty gardening, working up a sweat hiking, or just hanging out (or even living!) in the great outdoors. This is a form of therapy for them, and they will find a way to work this into their schedules (if it’s not their full time gig in the first place), no matter what. Taurus ladies are often earth mama types.

3. They do not hesitate to spend on the things they most value (and they know where to save).

 
Could be chocolate, fine wine, good coffee, a really comfy bed, luxurious real estate, or frequent plane tickets. Whatever it is, they will save in other ways (cheap prepaid phones and plans were MADE for Taurus) to make it happen.

4. They have a good sense of humor, but it might go over your head.

 
Yes they are earthy, methodical, and can sometimes come across as serious, but this sign sees the ironies and humor of life and is fine with expressing it. They either have an under-the-radar dry sense of humor constantly going, or have a goofy case of the giggles erupting when they’re in the right mood.

5. They don’t have trouble saying “no.”

 
While certain other signs may take on more than they can handle, or keep a social activity when their heart isn’t in it, Taurus knows, and respects, their inner guidance. If it’s something important to them, they’re in, but if it’s not really their thing they’re not going to force it.

6. Having a car is not high on their priority list.

 
Sure, if it’s essential to their daily life, or if they inherit someone’s hand-me-down they’ll take it, but otherwise Taureans will do without. Bikes, scooters, buses, their own two feet, or borrowing a parent’s or friend’s car when necessary is more their style.

7. They have some things in common with their opposite sign, Scorpio.

 
Both signs are highly sensual and can be somewhat possessive of their partners once they’ve committed.

8. They are relaxation pros.

 
Taureans aren’t lazy, but they recognize the value of restorative rest and tuning into activities that they truly enjoy. Basically, they take care of themselves, and don’t apologize for it.

9. They are extremely in tune with their bodies.

 
Possibly more so than any other sign. They are very aware of how they feel, and often process their emotions physically as well. This also ties in with their food preferences — they want only the best fuel for their bodies, as it benefits everything else for them. Taureans also rarely get sick.

10. They’re loving and loyal.

 
Count on this sign especially to still have friends from elementary school they keep in touch with, or even still live near. They don’t just let people who mean something to them go.
