Which Four Signs Find Winter Cozy and Romantic?

Many people can’t wait for winter to be over. But certain zodiac signs see it as an opportunity to snuggle closer to a loved one and create classic romantic moments. Where there’s slush and dangerous driving, they see fluffy snow and long, intimate nights. Which signs do you think might use winter as a relationship enhancer?

Taurus

The Mood: luxurious survival

That snowstorm is a perfect opportunity for Taurus to do what he does best: stay on the couch (or in bed) with you. As long as there’s plenty of comfort food and beverages in the house, he’s not moving. Because he’s a hoarder, he’ll have an impressive stash of his favorites. There may be a fireplace (Taurus likes to keep it natural) and there will definitely be a seriously comfortable couch and bed. However, he also has a thing for the outdoors. Once the storm blows over and turns into a sparkling winter day, you and he will venture outside for a romantic walk. But as much as he’ll love sharing his warmth (make no mistake, it’s his warmth) this self-sufficient sign can just as easily hunker down by himself. And he may prefer to do that if you insist that the special booze/chocolate/steak he’s sharing with you has too many calories.

Cancer

The Mood: welcome home

Cold weather means nurturing, which Cancer loves. Depending on her chart, she may want to nurture you, or expect you to nurture her (this is the sign of the mother and child). But either way, it’s time for soups, homemade bread, and soft blankets that swaddle both of you (fleece pajamas are optional). If the two of you aren’t wrapped up on the couch watching tv, you’ll be in the kitchen. One of you will be at the stove, preparing a special something that’s guaranteed to make both of you feel good. The other will be sitting at the table, chatting about your plans for the weekend together. Bonus points if the person being nurtured has the flu. This will be Cancer’s moment to shine as she goes into Mommy overdrive, or your opportunity to prove that you can look after her. If you’re at a certain point in your relationship, the holidays will be the perfect time for her to introduce you to her family. Or, for the two of you to start some family traditions of your own.

Libra

The Mood: romantic wonderland

Anything that has romantic potential appeals to Libra. He may fuss about salt stains on his cuffs, but the chance to create a picture-perfect romantic setting will be too good for him to pass up. He’ll have a vision of a beautifully arranged table with candles, a special meal and expensive wine (that’s seasonally appropriate). There’s you, seated at the table with your magical Christmas gift he’s wrapped exquisitely. Afterwards, the two of you will go for a sleigh ride through the crisp, cold night (a moonlit night) and just a hint of snow will swirl around you like scattered diamonds. The two of you will be wrapped in (faux) fur and cashmere blankets. You’ll tell him how amazing this night is, and the two of you will fall even more deeply in love. Anyway, that’s the Libra fantasy. The reality will probably not match up, but he’ll do everything in his power to create that dream scenario.

Sagittarius

The Mood: celebration

This Fire sign prefers the hot weather. But along with winter comes Christmas time, which means celebration time. Basically, it’s a time to dive into heavy food, winter ales, parties and any excuse to overdo it. Romance for Sagittarius is an activity, so get ready to be part of her social life. Her office Christmas party/family get-together/annual beer bash with friends will provide chances for the two of you to celebrate with others (the more the merrier). Ditto for various winter activities: skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, winter carnivals, snowball fights, skating, tobogganing – she’ll want to get outside and experience life with you. Afterwards, when you’re both pleasantly exhausted from the social swirl, the drinking and/or the outdoor extravaganza, there will be hot chocolate and a cozy night together. There’s something about winter that lends itself to richer and more intense experiences.
